Chapter 9

Cammies P.O.V

Shannon comes in 1 day, I can't wait I haven't been this excited in forever. In getting the house all ready for her, making sure everything is in the right place and making sure I put certain things in the right places. I hope my family likes Shannon as much as I do, I'm nervous and I don't know why. I haven't seen my girl in a while, we've been FaceTimeing but still. I can't stop smiling, I can't wait to see her. I sit on the edge of my bed thinking about what we will be doing and where we will be going and then I here my mom yell , "cam dinner!" I walk into the kitchen trying to contain my smile, I grab my plate and sit down in the usual spot. I start eating and I can't keep it in anymore, I start smiling, I try to keep it hidden by eating or covering my face but somehow my mom sees it. "Why are you so smiley" she asked
"Isn't it obvious" my brother says "she's smiling because Shannon's coming"
"Oh...so what is this girl like" my dad asks
"Oh God don't even get me started, she nice, sweet, beautiful, hot, sexy, funny, smart, kind, caring, compassionate, she's a perfectionist, tall, gorgeous, amazing, she always smells good, she's always nice, and she can't wait to meet you guys" I say completing the list. My mom smiles then looks at my dad.
"She sounds wonderful, I can't wait to meet her" my dad says. I finish my dinner and go back into my room and text Shannon.
"see you tomorrow bum" I say realizing she's probably asleep, but then she replies with, "I can't sleep I'm too nervous to meet your family"
"Don't be they are going to love you"
"How do you know"
"Because I love you Shan"
"That's good enough for me"
"Okay good now get some rest I'll see you tomorrow I love you" I say
"Okay I love you too see you tomorrow" she replied. I went into the bathroom and and brushed my teeth and went to bed at 3:12 am. I woke up made my bed and got ready, Shannon was coming at 12:00 and it was only 9:15. I got a text from Shannon. "Going to the airport now can't wait to see you"
"I can't wait to see you!" I replied, there was no reply after that so she was probably making sure she had everything. I walked into the kitchen and saw my family eating breakfast, I grabbed a plate and sat down but once I did they stopped talking. "What?" I asked
"Oh we're just thinking about where Shannon will sleep" my mom says
"She going to sleep in my room ,with me."
"Cam we don't think that that's the best idea"my dad says
"Why? We slept in the same bed when I went over there"
"But we don't want you guys getting any ideas"
"Oh so your saying you don't want us to have sex!" I yell
"Yes cammie that's what we're saying" my mom budded in
"But it's not up to you whether we do or not!"
"Cammie we just-"
"No that's my girlfriend! Do you think after a month of not seeing her that were not going to get physical! No we will because we love each other" I yell now standing
"Cammie you will not sleep in the same bed and that's final!" My dad yells
"What are you so afraid of its not like I'm going to get pregnant!" I yell back
"But you could get your heart broken and we don't want to see that happen" my mom says trying to calm me down
"Why would...Shannon would never...ugh!" I say storming off. I looked at my phone: 9:50. God does time just stop when something important happens. I decided to go on a long well deserved drive, And about 30 minutes in I had to get gas. I drive up to the closest gas station and got myself s red bull and a energy bar. I look at my phone for the time again: 10:20 it was going to take forever until Shannon got here. I decided to text her as the tank filled up. "Hey, are you on the plane?"
"Yeah gonna be there soon can't wait!" She replied
"Me too! Ugh but it seems like time has set still"
"I know I just want to be with you right now"
"Me too just want to give you a big hug!"
"Hahaha your so fucking cute" she texted
"Stop! Your going to make me blush" I say back, I hear the gas stop, I go and pay and drive away. I can hear my phone going off but I don't want to pick it up until I get home. When I did get home I walked in the door and my mom sat on the couch, I picked up my phone to see what Shannon said: "I know your blushing" "I miss you so much, but these plane rides will be the death of me" "you there?" "I'm going to sleep love you"
"Love you too" I text back. The time was now 11:30 so we can go get Shannon, I let my mom drive so I don't freak out on the way there and get in a crash. I got a text from Shannon that said "just landed, gonna get my luggage and then I'll see you!" I didn't reply because I was to nervous. Once we where in the airport I just stood there and waited for her, but she took forever so I sat down. But then I saw her, she was wearing skinny jeans and a cut off tank top and her hair was up in a hat. I started walking toward her, fast walking, sprinting toward her. She dropped her luggage on the ground and I jumped up and wrapped my legs around her waist, I buried my head in her neck like I used to and took in a deep breath smelling that amazing smell I had missed so much. I started crying because I missed her so much, I could feel her arms rub up and down my back like she used to do God did I miss her.

Shannon's P.O.V

I smelled her hair as she was still buried in my neck, she released her legs from around my waist and stood back on her feet. She looked at me smiling and kissed me, then a girl who was right next us said, "that was literally the cutest thing I had ever seen" me and cammie laughed and she left. I kissed her again, when we released she grabbed my hand and I grabbed my luggage and we started walking. I don't know we where walking toward her mom until we where right in front of her. "Hi" she said "I'm Sandi Scott cammies mom"
"Hi I'm Shannon Beveridge, your daughters girlfriend" I say back, she shakes my hand and starts walking towards the car. She put my stuff in the trunk and we both say in the back, she Leander her head against my shoulder and we held hands as I rubbed her face. When we where at her house she opened the door and I was greeted by a dog not much smaller than Mac. "Keegan down" cammie demanded, the dog got off and started his way back into the house. I followed cammie into her house holding my bags, she led me into her room and told me to set my stuff in the corner. We walked back into the main hallway and into the kitchen. "Do you want something to eat?" She asked
"Sure, I'll have whatever" I answer
"We have some left over pizza"
"Okay that sounds fine" she warms up the pizza and hands me a plate, she sits next to me and wraps her hand around my neck while I eat. When I finished cammie asked "do you wanna go take a nap?"
"Sure, I would love a nap" I answer. I walk into her bedroom and she lies down on the bed and slaps the side right next to her. I crawl next to her and lay down next to her, she laid on top of me and kissed my neck. I run my hand up her shirt and rub her bare back. "Mmm, I've missed that" She says
"I've missed you" I say, I roll her over and begin kissing her passionately, she grabs my neck with one hand and my waist with the other. I clasped on her body and acted dead. "Oh Shan get off" cam said wheezing "Shan your killing me babe"
"Shannon's not here right now please leave a message" I say in a robot voice
"Can you please tell Shannon Nicole Beveridge that her girlfriend is dying and needs assistance" cam said trying to get me off, I roll onto my back with my mouth open and she blows into my mouth and I cough.
"Haha got you" she laughed
"Oh I'll get you" I say grabbing her arms and pinning her to the bed
"Shan no please I'm begging you" I begin letting spit drag from out of my mouth and it begins inching toward her face. She squirmed until it hit her smack dab in the middle of the forehead, she screamed and I got off of her. She wiped the spot from her forehead and rolled over and gave me a kiss and blowed into my mouth. "Oh babe, yuck!" I say, she chuckled. She hugged me and I ran my fingers through her hair and we both drifted asleep.
