Chapter 5

Shannon's P.O.V

As soon as I stormed out I wanted to go right back in and apologize, but I couldn't so I went for a really long drive, I looked at my phone to check the time: 7:15. And God was I freezing! I went back inside and upstairs into my room, it was empty. Her suitcase was gone the clothes she had on my floor where gone, did she leave? I started freaking out I sat on my bed and began to cry, I walked into the guest room and she was there sleeping in the guest bed. I wiped the tears from my eyes and took a big sigh of relief, I walked into the room and picked cammie up and carried her into our room. I wrapped her up into my arms and kissed the top of her head, she wrapped her arm around my waist and one around my neck and said "don't ever leave me again, and I'm sorry I didn't ask you if you where ready I love you so much" she looked up at me with tears in her eyes, I gave her a ,long and well deserved, kiss and said "I love you too cam and I'll never leave you and I'm sorry for not telling you and for saying your a whore. Your not a whore cammie I'm really sorry" she kissed the tip of my chin and went back to sleep. I woke up at about midnight to cammie freaking out at the side of the bed, she was having a bad dream, she was screaming and moving her feet ever so slightly which probably meant she was running. I watched her for a while and then slowly slid myself over to her side of the bed and held her until she woke up, she was sweaty and scared. "That was the worst dream ever" she said buried in my neck, I ran my finger through her hair and she started drifting asleep again. The next morning I woke up and I was spooning cammie, I looked at her bare neck and began kissing it and kissing her ear and the top of her shoulder, she turned around but didn't open her eyes and kissed me on the lips. "How are you so beautiful?" I say to her
"Some of you must've rubbed off on me" she said turning back over
"Smooth cammie real smooth. I have a big plan for us today"
"Really?"
"Yep, and Vanessas coming". She turned back around fast and looked me in the face.
"Don't fuck with me Shannon Beveridge"
"I'm not" I say laughing
"Yes, imma send that bitch a text". I laughed at her and then got out of bed to make us breakfast. I could hear cammie screaming from the room "yes! Shannon your the best babe"
"Is this all because Vanessas going laking with us cammie"
"What we're going laking! Yes babe I love you so much" I kept laughing at cam and told her to get ready, my hand still hurt from last night, I pulled up my sweatshirt sleeve and saw my wrist all purple and bruised. What was I going to do, how can I hide that from everyone, how can I hide that from cammie it's just another reminder that we got in that fight. "Cammie can you come here for a sec!" I yell up to her
"Yeah okay be right there" she came running down the stairs and came into the kitchen "what's up babe?"
"Well I have this thing on my arm from last night and I don't know how to hide it" I say beginning to lift up my sleeve, she saw the bruise and screamed.
"Shan it might be broken"
"No it's fine, I can move it fine" which was a lie because it hurt to move it.
"Let me see it" she said taking my arm "yeah Shan it looks pretty broken"
"But I slept on it perfectly fine" another lie I slept awful
"Okay then see how you do when we go laking" she said squishing my cheeks.

Cammies P.O.V

We're driving up to the the lake right now, but I'm concerned about Shannon's arm. I know I did it to her but it's not like I knocked her down on purpose, it was our first fight and I didn't know how it would end up, I went back into the guest bedroom because I thought she wouldn't want to even look at me. I'm happy we made up and that we're going laking with Vanessa, Shannon told me to hurry up and put on a swimsuit because we had to leave right now. She came down the stairs wearing a cut off tank top and some booty shorts with her hair in a bun, she wasn't wearing makeup ,but she never really did, and she looked outstanding. "Shannon, I don't know what it is but you look so hot baby" I said looking her up and down. She blushed and grabbed my hand and rubbed it with her thumb, we left and went to the car and put our stuff in the back. Shannon drove but only with one hand really, I told her that it would be fine if I drove us and that I wouldn't mind but she denied each time I asked. After about an hour long trip we where at Vanessas, as we walked up to the door and before we could even knock Vanessa opened the door.
"Oh look who it is! The beautiful Shannon and cammie" she yelled
"Hey Vanessa" I said giving her a hug
"Hey ness" Shannon said going inside
"We're almost done getting things ready" Vanessa explained
"Who are you with?" Shannon asked
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you...um I'm no longer single I guess"
"Your dating someone?" Me and Shannon say in sync
"Wooh guys it's not like this is something we thought would never happen okay? She's just in the kitchen come on I'll introduce you guys" we walked into the kitchen and saw a thin girl with tattoos up her arm and a septum piercing and sunglasses on the top of her head, from the looks of her she doesn't look like Vanessas type. She saw us and kind of freaked out. "Hey sorry I was packing" she said waking over to us "hi I'm Shea, and you guys must be Shannon and cammie" she held out her hand and we both shook it. She's perkier than I had expected which wasn't a bad thing, after Vanessa introduced us to Shea we left for the lake. Shannon drove and reached out her hand to hold mine and Vanessa saw her hand. "Shannon what happens to your hand" Shannon looked at me then back at the road and said "um I just fell down" she lied. I felt guilty that Shannon had to lie because of me. I held her hand and looked at her trying to hold back tears trying to forget what I did to her, but I couldn't, I couldn't stop thinking about how bad I felt whenever I saw her hand. I let a tear fall from my cheek and tried wiping away whatever was left on my face. Shannon looked at me and noticed me crying and said to Vanessa, "ness I'm feeling a little tired do you think maybe you could drive for a while"
"Sure" she responded. We got out of the car and went to the back, Shannon took me into her arms and began running her fingers through my hair, I loved it when she did that it made me know that she was with me. I fell asleep on her chest because I couldn't keep my eyes open.
