Chapter 42

*im skipping foreword a couple months so cammie and Shannon are about to go home with the baby*

Shannons P.O.V

They said the baby was okay to take home, she's still a little tiny but so adorable. She has cammies eyes, they're big and so green, and her hair is light brown but we think it'll turn blonde later. She has the most beautiful laugh, it's so cute and she's such an energetic little thing.
"Shannon do you have the car seat?" Cammie asks me holding the baby
"Yeah it's right here." I whisper, cammie keeps her eyes locked on the baby, her eyes are open and her tongue is out.
"She looks angry." I chuckle
"Yeah she does. Are you angry, huh you my angry little girl." Cammie says in a baby voice
"See I told you, you would start talking like that."
"It's hard not to."
"You ready to go?" I ask her, she nods her head still looking at the baby. I pull up the car and help cammie put the baby in the car seat. On the way home the baby starts, what me and cammie call, 'talking'. It's basically just a bunch of noise she makes, sometimes it's just screaming but other times she's actually trying. Sometimes me and cammie will respond with "yeah, oh really, wow, or oh honey." Soon she'll stop and falls asleep. When we got home we were greeted by a hug from Roman and my mom. My mom took the baby away from me almost immediately after I got her.
"Oh my goodness, look at her eyes, they're so big and beautiful. She's so tiny, oh my god. She's beautiful."
When my mom went home cammie and Roman went for a nap and I sat in the living room and held the baby. I watched her for a while as she just slept in my arms and breathed in and out. Every once and a while she would wake up and look at me then yawn and go back to sleep. She was a very quiet baby, except for when she talked. Cammie walked out of her room and saw me holding the baby.
"You think I should feed her?" Cam asked
"Yeah she's probably hungry." I lifted the baby up to cam and the baby yawned
"Aww good yawn baby." Cammie sat down on the couch and started feeding the baby.
"Doesn't that hurt?" I asked cammie "she's like pulling on your nips." Cammie chuckled
"I mean yeah I guess I get sore but it doesn't really hurt." She answered
"Do you think it taste good?"
"Shannon." Cammie laughed
"Well it obviously does to her. Look at her she's going to town."
"Oh my god" cammie laughed "I love you."
"I love you too." I smiled and kissed her.

Cammies P.O.V

Our first night with the baby I expected to be up all night with her crying, but I was up all night with her talking. She was so loud it was constantly just her saying random things. Me and Shannon would go in her room and try to put her to sleep but once we did she would just wake back up. One time Roman came into our room and asked us if we could tell her to be quite. Me and Shannon were so tired by morning and the banish was so awake. Vanessa texted us and said she was coming over to see the kids because she hadn't seen Roman in a while and she wanted to see the new baby. She's engaged but me and Shannon haven't met her yet so we don't know who she is.
"You excited for aunt ness to come Roman?" Shannon asked
"Yes! She's so fun I haven't seen her in like forever!" He answered enthusiastic.
"She'll be here at 11:00." Shannon said
"Shannon! It's 10:40!" I yell
"Yeah...and?"
"The house is destroyed! We have to start cleaning."
We started cleaning the house and it still looked like a disaster by the time Vanessa got here.
"Hey hey y'all!" Vanessa said walking in
"Ness!" Roman ran and hugged her
"Roman soldier! How you doing bud?"
"Tired.."
"Why tired?"
"The baby" Roman explained
"I'm going to see her, is she cute?" Roman nodded and Vanessa came the rest of the way in.
"Hey Shan and cam." She hugged us both
"Hey" we both said
"Can I see her?" Vanessa said excited
"Yeah I'll go get her."
I went into her room and took her into the living room and Vanessa gasped.
"Holy shit her eyes are gorgeous." She said "they're so big and green! Aww look at her little tongue sticking out and her hair is so soft and her little fingers."
"Yeah she's pretty cute." Shan says
"Pretty cute this baby is adorable! Hey baby girl you're so cute and sweet you look just like your mom cammie." Vanessa said in a baby voice. "What's her name?"
"Well it took us a while to figure one out." I said
"Yeah we kept going back and forth and arguing ugh!" Shannon added
"But we decided on Amelia Tate Beveridge."
"Amelia Tate Beveridge." Vanessa repeated.
