Chapter 14

Cammies P.O.V

Shannon has been acting weird all day. I don't know why but she keeps giving me these weird looks, I didn't wan to ask but it started getting uncomfortable. I didn't bring it but still I wanted to know what was up. We where lying down on the bed watching t.v, Shannon had started looking better then she did when she came to me yesterday. "Do you want something to eat" I ask her
"Umm no I'm good" she says
"Shan...come on you need to eat."
"Cam honestly I'm not hungry". I stare at her and tell her I'm making her food, I made us grilled cheeses and went back into my room and handed Shannon her plate. "Thank you baby" Shan says, I nod and wait for her to take a bite. When she finally does I take a sigh of relief and start eating, I heard the front door open and assumed my brother was home. But my mother walked in my room. "Shannon!?" She said confused
"Hello Mrs. Scott" Shan said with her mouth full
"Oh my God, come give me a hug". Shannon got up and gave my mom a hug. "Did you and cammie get back together?"
"Yeah, umm I came here yesterday and finally told her I still lived her"
"oh honey you look like you need some rest"
"Yeah tell me about it, I didn't sleep for three days straight and I didn't eat for a week" Shan said gesturing to herself
"Well I'm so happy you two are together again and I'll let you get some rest" my mom says closing the door. Shannon came and laid back on the bed and finished eating, when she was finished she laid her head on my chest and fell asleep. I wasn't tired so I just let her sleep, while she was sleeping she rolled on top of me and buried her head in my neck. I started rubbing her neck and then started rubbing her, very warm, back.

Shannon's P.O.V

I can feel cam rubbing my back and neck and she's giving me goosebumps. I start kissing her neck and then I get up and go to the bathroom, I get back and cammies sprawled out on the bed. Her mouth is wide open and the blankets are on the floor, I guess she got hot. Since she was sleeping I decided to ask her the question because I knew there would be no response. "Cammie are you asleep?" I whisper, I got no response so I began saying it. "Cam u want you to move in with me. I know it's to soon but I wanted to tell you and I know it's going to be weird or whatever...but I love you and yeah"
"Okay, I'll move in with you" can says
"Cammie your awake! Oh shit- you're going to move in with me?"  She sat up and looked at me.
"Yeah...it will be fun. And I love you so it'll be easy and fun and yeah". I give her a hug. "Is this the thing you where so nervous to tell me?"
"Yeah"
"Oh baby I will move in with you"
"What are your parent going to say" I say concerned
"They'll understand and they'll probably be happy to see me move out" she joked
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah Shan do you want me to go ask right now ?"
"No no no no! That will make it worse if they hate me."
"Shan my parents love you to death did you not just see my mom come in here and demand a hug from you?"
"Well tell them later okay"
"Yeah, and speaking of later when do you have to go home?" She asked looking down
"Like really soon, I don't want to leave cammie but think of it this way, once I finish college I can spend all the time in the world with you" I say trying to be optimistic. She nods and lays back down.
"Cam it's going to be fine okay?"
"Okay, come cuddle me" she said in a cute voice. I laid right in front of her and wrapped my legs around her, she kissed me and laid her head on my chest and we both drifted asleep. The next morning I woke up to an empty bed, cam must've gotten up already. I got out of bed and went into the living room, no cammie, I walked into the kitchen, no cammie. I texted her asking where she was but she didn't reply, I was being to get concerned and just started walking around the room. After I had sat down for a while cammies mom came out and sat next to me.
"Hey" I say
"Hi. What are you doing out here all alone" she asks
"Well I can't find cammie"
"Oh she's probably at work. Tomorrow we're throwing cam a surprise party and we need ideas, so do you have any?"
"Oh my God, tomorrow's cams birthday? I forgot! I must be the worst girlfriend ever" I say burring my face in my hands.
"Oh Shannon, no your not. Cam loves you and you remember now it's not like today is her birthday" she reassured me. "Cam left me a note telling me that your supposed to eat a meal with a lot of protein? What's that about?"
"It's just for health reasons"
"Like when you and cam broke up and you started starving yourself"
"Yeah, well technically I wasn't starving. I would occasionally eat"
"Okay, I'm going to make you eggs and toast, and then I'm going to have you take lunch to cam"
"Okay thank you Mrs Scott" I say as she gets up, she nods and begins making me breakfast.
I started eating slow and then began to eat a lot faster, I didn't even realize I was that hungry.
"Wow that was quick" Sandie says
"Yeah I was hungry" I say embarrassed
"Well here take this to cam and then come back"
"Where does cam even work"
"Oh she never told you?". I shake my head. "Oh well she works at the mall, at urban"
"Really? Huh well I'm sure she'll be surprised to see me then" I laugh
"Yeah, you can take our car cam probably took hers" she tells me. I grab cams lunch and the keys and get into the car. I start driving and then realized I had no idea where I was going. I turned on my gps in my phone and it led me to the mall, I went in and I was wondering around looking for urban. While I was wondering I saw a Starbucks and got cam a coffee, when I had finally found urban it was 12:23 so cammie must be hungry. I started looking around for cammie at urban, I didn't see her. Finally I saw her standing at the front doors helping someone, I decided to wait till she was finished talking until I was going to surprise her. She kept on talking and started walking to help the chick find something. I followed her creepily to the front desk and waited for the girl to finish getting her things checked out. When she was finally finished she left, cammie started messing on her phone and I went up to the front desk.
"Ma'am I'm looking something very important do you think you could help me" I say in a weird voice
"Yeah what do you-. Shannon! What are you doing here!" Cam said while hugging me
"Well your mom said you needed lunch so here you go. And I also got you a coffee"
"That's so sweet" she said and gave me a quick kiss
"And as a birthday surprise I'm going to sit down and talk to you while you eat"
"Or you could just eat with me"
"I'm okay, I'm not hungry and I just ate so"
"Shan come on" she said as her shoulders dropped
"No honestly, your mom just made me breakfast like 3 hours ago" I said
"3 hours ago, Shan your hungry come on I'll bye you something" she said dragging my arm
"Babe, I'm here for you. I'm here for your birthday. Please". She rolled her eyes and nodded. We went into the food court and sat down. I talked to her and just basically rambled, until this subject came back up.
"When are you leaving" cam asked
"Umm...after your birthday" I mumble. She immediately looked down, I felt terrible but I had to go back or I'll miss finals.
"Hey but when you come and live with me guess what?...ill never be leaving you."
"Well then hurry up and finish school" I nod and kiss her forehead and she finishes eating.
I decided to leave after cammie kept on getting asked for help, I drove home and parked the car in its usual place. I'm greeted by Keegan at the door and I walk into the kitchen and see Sandie cooking.
"What are you making?" I ask her
"Well I'm making something for you since cammie texted me saying you needed to eat" she replied holding up her phone
"You really didn't have to do that, I'm completely fine Mrs Scott"
"No your not I want you to get better and you need to eat okay". I nod. After I finish eating I go into cammies room and watch a show and fall asleep.
