Chapter 13

Cammies P.O.V

It was a mistake breaking up with Shannon I don't know if she meant to leave her hoodie here but I wore it every day. I cry everyday, I can't do anything without it reminding me of her. I eat like a bird, I can only get in a couple hours of sleep each night, and I'm always dehydrated from crying so much. I sat at the dinner table holding a tissue in my hand eating dinner with my family. It's an awful feeling knowing I'm the one who let her go, I could have kept her but I'm an idiot.
"Cammie eat your food" my mom says sternly. I start picking up my fork and slowly she's in the food.
"I hate myself" I mumble
"cammie if your going to say something then say it so everyone can hear". I stand up and walk out of the room and go into my bedroom, my mother follows me.
"Cammie you can't keep doing this" she says
"Doing what?" I ask laying down
"Moping around like some helpless animal! You did this Camden, that girl that you hurt didn't deserve that either"
"You don't think that I didn't deserve it either"
"Oh come on cam, now your just acting sorry for yourself". I begin crying into my pillow.
"I mis her so much!" I cry out
"Then go get her back" she says leaving my room. I feel asleep in a puddle of my own tears that night and it was actually a pretty decent sleep. I woke up with intentions to get Shannon back, even though I didn't know where she was, as I was getting ready I heard a knock at the front door. I go up to it and look out the window but I couldn't see who it was, I opened the door and she was there. "Vanessa?" I say confused
"Hey cam" she said walking in
"What are you doing here"
"Well Shan told me what had happened and she told me to come investigate so...here I am"
"How's Shan is she okay?"
"She's a fucking wreck cam, she misses you so much and I can see by the way you look you miss her to so do me a favor and go get Shannon back"
"How is she a wreck?"
"Cammie she won't eat, she doesn't shower, she doesn't sleep! It hurts me to see her this way. I know you still love her so please go get her back." She said hugging me.
"I'll think about it" I say
"Please do...she's really bad cam" Vanessa said leaving. I felt I tiny bit of relief knowing that Shan was doing just as bad but I still didn't know how I felt about getting back together with her. I decided to take a nap but before I could my mom walked in.
"Your thinking about it?" She asked
"What" I say
"Your thinking about getting back with Shannon? Because I thought you where going to get her back this morning?"
"I was but I thought he maybe it would be better if we just had some distance for a while"
"Whatever cam but that girl is hurting and by the sounds of it she'll be hospitalized by tomorrow if she doesn't start eating" she said getting up and leaving. I was laying in bed thinking when I started drifting asleep. I was dreaming, Shannon was there she looked hot I started walking towards her but she began to turn into dust. I started running toward her hoping to get there faster, but it it didn't work. When I got there the only thing that was left of her was her face, and she said "please cammie" and the rest of her disappeared. I woke up and checked my phone for the time: 12:30. I went into he kitchen to get something to eat but then I heard the doorbell, I walk up to the door and open it. Shannon. She looked bad, she had big dark spots under her eyes, she looked really skinny, her cheek bones where showing, and she was shaking. "Hey cam" she said with a cracked voice. I had tears in my eyes.
"Hey Shan" I say back
"I just wanted to tell you that...I still love you and that I'm sorry." I hugged her, I knew that I didn't want anyone else but her.
"Oh God Shannon!" I cry into her shoulder "I'm so sorry I did that to you! I love you so much"
"Really?"
"Yes, oh God I missed you"
"I missed you to! I'm not going anywhere." I looked into her eyes and kissed her.
"Are you going to stay with me again?" I asked
"Of coarse I will" she says back. She goes up to her ubers car and grabs the suitcase out of the truck and wheels it up to the door. She puts it in my room and then comes back so me, she wraps her arms around me and kissed my cheek. I feel up her shirt and I can feel her ribs and slide my hand back down. She looks at me confused.
"You need to eat" I say staring at her. She looked down as if she were humiliated, I grab her chin and pull it upwards. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and she bit her lip.
"It's okay" I say "I need to eat too". She gives me a little smile and hugs me. I made us both lunch and Shannon basically inhaled her food, she was so hungry and I could tell.
"Do you want to go on a walk" I ask, she nodded and we both got ready.

Shannon's P.O.V

I put on my shoes and waited for cammie to get ready. She walked into the room and asked me if I was ready I nodded and we left, as we where walking I touched her hand on accident and she looked at me and interlocked our fingers. God I missed her, she looked over at me, I hadn't realized I was staring at her, and laughed. Her smile is so big and so bright, it bring immediate joy to me seeing her smile. I'm so happy I'm with her again, but I don't want to ruin things by asking the question, not marriage, just a dreadful question that I don't know the answer to.
