Chapter 25- +

*Bryan's POV*

Ava groaned and put her head down at the table.

Since the incident a few weeks ago, we've made up. Though things weren't entirely perfect between us, things were pretty much back to the way they were.

"You okay?", I asked her.

She looked up and nodded. "I think so. It's just I have that big test this week. I'm really not tryna fail, so I've been studying all week."

"You gonna eat, Ava? You know I don't play that anorexic shit.", I said.

At the very mention of eating, she gagged. "I'm good, just not in the mood. Do I look sickly skinny to you?"

I knew she was right. "Guess not."

After a few minutes she asked, "how much time is left till lunch is over?"

I checked the time. "About twenty minutes. Why?"

"Do ya think you could take me to the CVS down the street real quick?"

I waited in the car as Ava got whatever she needed. Even though she had her own car, she asked me to bring her because she didn't want to fall asleep behind the wheel, which I completely understood.

She came back about five minutes later.

"Got everything you need?", I asked as I started the car back up.

"Just an energy drink. They're hella bad for you but oh well.", She said, dumping the contents of the bag in her purse.

We made it back to the school after a few minutes. I dropped Ava off at the front before I went around to go park the car.

"See you in a bit."

Ava waved as she got out. "I can't believe I'm about to do this in a school bathroom.", I heard her mumble to herself as she left.

*Avadele's POV*

That little symbol could mean anything.

It could mean an addition, like something new in your life. It could even mean Ed Sheeran's album if you wanna get all technical.

It could mean like 1 missed class plus another missed class equals extended detention.

1+ any number= the number of shits I give that I missed two classes.

1+3= the number of tears I cried when i saw that symbol.

And the only reason I saw that plus sign is because 1+1=2.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot + could ask mean that you tested positive for something. You know, like a HIV test, a drug test, maybe even a pregnancy test.
