Chapter 20- Perdoname?

*Prince Royce's POV*

I decided I was going to do it.

I was going to find Ava and apologize for all I did to her. It's not fair that she had to deal with this. But how could I get her to willingly talk to me? The thought of one person came to mind...

*Rachel's POV*

I heard a knock on my door and went to go answer it.

"Why are you here?", I asked once i opened the door and saw Geoffrey.

"I'm here for your help."

"What?"

"I need you to help me get Ava back.", he said.

"Good luck with that.", I said as I began I shut the door.

"Wait!", he said as he stopped me.

"Whaaat?"

"Can you help me?"

"What makes you think I'd help you?", I asked him.

"I don't think you will. But it's worth a shot. I just need her back...or at least for her to forgive me.", he said sadly.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Come in then.", I said, opening the door wider and pointing inside.

"Thank you, Rachel!", he said as he came inside.

"Don't get too happy now." I sat down. "Now, what exactly can I help you with?"

"Getting Ava to see me differently."

"Well, after what you've done I think she just sees you as a cheater."

"Rachel...could you just help me out? I understand what I did was wrong..."

"Listen.", I said. "All you have to do is apologize."

"Do you think she still hates me?", he asked. "You're her best friend, you'd know."

Wow, wasn't he an idiot. "I'm pretty sure she does."

"Are you sure?"

Hmm, well lets see, I thought. He cheated on her and didn't even tell her right away. Yeah, I'd totally not hate someone who did that to me. "Wanna check? Ill text her."

I texted Ava:

So Ｕ still feelin bad about Geoffrey?

We sat there a few minutes as we waited for her to reply.

"What did she say?", he asked once he heard my phone ring.

I checked the message. "'Ugh don't remind me. I don't wanna talk about that guy.'", I read aloud.

Geoffrey looked down for a minute and ran a hand through his hair.. "Damn...I still gotta see her though..."

"If you can find her and keep her interest long enough for her to listen to you.", I told him.

"I already know where she is...can you just do me a favor and don't tell her I'm coming. If you did she'll probably try and avoid me."

I thought for a minute but finally gave in. I mean is not like she would give him the time of day anyway. So I had nothing to worry about, right? "Alright.", I finally sighed "I won't tell her-"

"Thank you!", he said happily as he cut me off with a hug. Before I got a chance to say anything else he ran out. I went to the window and watched him drive away.

I just hoped Ava would see things clearly.

*Prince Royce's POV **

I pulled into Christina's driveway and got out the car.

I took in a deep breath and rang the doorbell. This was it.

I heard commotion inside and footsteps coming to the door. I nervously wrung my hands as I heard the lock turn. My heart jumped when Ava answered the door. I hadn't seem her in over a week.

The smile on her face dropped as soon as she saw me.

"Who is it?", I heard Christiana call from inside.

"No one important.", Ava replied, her eyes still set with a death glare at me.

"Alright!", Christina yelled back.

"Hi...", I said quietly as I gave her a slight wave.

Ava closed her eyes. "What...do...you...want?", she asked me slowly.

"Your forgiveness."

"Just leave me alone." She sighed. "Come back when you have more realistic expectations."

"Ava, wait just hear me out. I came to apologize."

She looked at the time. "You have one minute. Go."

"I know I messed up. I'm just here to apologize. I just want you to forgive me. What I did was a jerk move and I regret it. Please, don't believe what the others say. I honestly do love you. I made one mistake. I screwed up, I get that but It's hard to sleep knowing that you hate me. I really am sorry. Te Amo, Ava.", I said all at once. "So...perdoname?"

Ava sighed as she thought for a minute then opened her mouth to speak. "No."
