My first class wasn't so bad without Clarissa. Since I didn't sit next to her I simply imagined she was just way at the back, having a great time with Nathan. In geography, Lydia helped out much making me feel accompanied.
When art came, Nathan and I sat in the back seats, defining simple art words from the textbook. We would have a quiz over them next week.On my fourth word, I was flipping through the pages when I feel the sudden feeling someone has their eyes on me.
I turned to find Nathan looking at me.
"May I help you?" I asked, facing Nathan.
"Well I was wondering if you already found the second word?" He questioned, showing a sexy smirk.
I rolled my eyes, and handed him my journal with my words.
I observed his beautiful blue eyes, focus down on my journal. His long fingers move rapidly as he was writing.
His smile reappeared in my mind, I never noticed how cute and gorgeous it was. His bright, blue illuminated eyes, that shined along with his smile.
"I'm too hot right?" Spoke Nathan, breaking my thoughts into a billion pieces.
"Please!" I cried, turning around, trying to hide my heated up cheeks of embarrassment.
"Psh! I'm so hot, that's why everybody dies for me."he chuckled."Lie." I said. "I don't die for you." I rose my eyebrow, letting him know I was serious.
"Oh yeah, sure." His eyes came into contact with mine, and he approached me. "I caught you checking me out."
"Nathan cut it out! I was not checking you out! Now let me do my work, because apparently you don't!"
"Carolina, you make a big deal about everything."
"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes.
"thanks for the word" he said, handing me my notebook.
"Yeah, sure." I replied, returning to my work.
The rest of class, we didn't talk much. I remembered the embarrassing moment I suffered when he caught me actually checking him out. Yikes!
When lunch time came on, Lydia and I sat on our usual table, this time without Clarissa.
"So, how's it going with the "hooking up", questioned Lydia, taking a bite on her sandwich."Well, I don't have a technique yet, but it's pretty good. Once in a while I try to get some info about her, but idk yet. I don't get how people bring other people together." I really thought how friends actually brought a couple together. Who would of known this was harder than I thought.
"Clarissa had good taste. He's super hot." Opined Lydia.
"Yeah he truly is. Very" his smile appeared on my head once more, but I shook off that memory.
"What the hell? Why did you shake your head?" Spoke Lydia, laughing a little bit.
I chuckled, munching on a piece of apple. "Sorry, I'm a little weird sometimes." I lied, trying to take off his face.
Through a bit of laughter and talk, the end of lunch came sooner than expected. We threw away our trash, and took different paths to our classes.
Entering my English class, I sat down and began on a worksheet placed on my desk as well as the other desks.
Turning in my sheet, I sat back down and began thinking about Clarissa and Nathan.
"Carolina." Cried my teacher, waking me from my thoughts.
"Yes?" I replied, walking to her desk.
"Can you please take these papers to room 204, you know where it is right?"
I immediately recognized it being my geography classroom. I nodded.
"Alright, here you go."
I walked out the classroom and walked for two more hallways.
Turning on a corner, I bumped myself into a figure. My eyes met with a guy with huge Chestnut eyes, and golden hair.
He was breathtakingly cute, his lips had a perfect shape.
"I'm...really sorry...I" I couldn't speak, my lips kept stuttering.
"Whatever." He replied. He stood, and left me, in the floor regretting all the nice things I said about him.
I sighed, realizing all the papers my teacher have gave me were all scattered on the floor now.
I gathered them, bringing them in an organized position. I found one a few feet away, and I stood to get it.
Picking it up, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned, and my eyes met with those cute blue eyes my best friend was deeply in love with.
"You OK?" He asked, smiling.
"Yeah. It was just that jerk who bumped into me, who didn't even say sorry or anything. But, whatever." I placed the sheet on top of the others.
"So where are you going?" He asked, leaning against the lockers.
"I'm supposed to take this to room 204, Geography." I looked down at my papers, observing them for a bit.
"I'm in that class right now." He cried, showing another smile.
"Lie. Right now your here with me, not in class. So, get it right." I turned walking to the classroom.
Entering the classroom, I found myself with everyone's eyes all on me. I handed the papers to my geography teacher.
"Thank you dear." He said, giving me a cute smile.
Crossing the entrance, I walked the hallway slowly, with my hands in my pocket. I tried to be careful on the corners, this was already my second time bumping into someone.
"Hey" stated a familiar voice.
I turned to find Nathan, now on the other side of the hallway. "Hey."I replied, still not fully turning to him.
"What you up to?" He asked, coming closer to me.
"I'm going to class, which is what you should do too." I said.
"Naw! It's too quiet." He cried, laughing a bit.
I rolled my eyes, with a smile in my face.
"Hey..." He approached me, his lips close to my ears. "Wanna skip last class with me?" He asked, smiling mischievously.
