Days began passing by rapidly, ever since the incident with Clarissa occurred.

Nathan kept his word and continued to speak with Clarissa, having no issues or awkwardness.

I have to agree as well that we've come closer a bit as well. Texting almost everyday to even staying late at night to talk on the phone.

I've also took in advantage this time spent with him to bring him a bit closer to Clarissa but it hasn't very well changed or made a difference. I was starting to think in quitting but then I knew I couldn't give up so easily.

Today in school everyone was pretty excited because of the dance occurring tonight. My two friends and I were already prepared with our dresses. We had all agreed to get ready at my place and leave from there as well.

"Aren't y'all excited?!" exclaimed Lydia, almost choking on her food.

"Chill! Of course! But we all know who's SUPER excited" I purposely made my eyes look over to Clarissa who she immediately recognized my sarcasm and slapped my hand gently.

"Whatever. It's not like you aren't?" she cried, eyeing me trying to hold back her laughter which she was really good at.

I shrugged my shoulders and continued drinking the rest of my water.

A few seconds later the bell rang. Everyone began to exit the cafeteria going on to their next class.

"See y'all" commented my friend, as she made her way to her science class.

"Bye" said Clarissa and I at the same time making us giggle among ourselves.

Later on that day, after completing what seemed a very boring school day everyone left anxious to get ready for the dance.

Before the day ended administrators from the school came to each class telling us to behave and have respect upon our actions. ¿I guess this dance was like a romantic theme because all they seemed to talk about was to remain calm and respectful?

After arriving at my home, we had a bit of our time before we got ready for the dance. We then began to do our hair and get our makeup done.

Luckily for me I had three mirrors so each of us could focus on ourselves and wouldn't be fighting about having our time to get ready.

Apparently I took the most time out of all because my two friends were already done and waiting for me downstairs. I looked at myself one last time in the mirror fixing a little hair on my messy side bun. I turned the light off of my room and made my way downstairs.

"Until your done!" said Lydia as she turned her back to look at me.

"Woah" she cried, looking at me with her eyes wide open. "Now I see why you took so long"

"What?" I questioned.

"You look great." Said Clarissa smiling at me.

"Thanks. You look gorgeous too. And so do you Lydia. Now let's get going."

We made our way outside and then drove back our school were the dance would be held.

Once I found a parking spot, we got out of my car and began walking to the entrance along with a few other people.

Once we came inside we could the blasting music from the gym were the dance was being held. Crossing the doors, we found a large groups of people dancing and having fun.

Around the gym we could see chairs were people would sit if they didn't want to dance. In the middle left of the gym their was a table of food and drinks provided for us.
