Regretful desire (Editing)

Chapter 13

We began to talk about school and left the dance topic drift off.

Much and much laughter came then, I especially was crying because of too much laughing. We became to crazy. By accident, I spilled half of my water bottle splashing all over the floor.

"Look what y'all made me do!" I cried, wiping my tears and getting up to get some paper towels.

I came back with a stack and began to wipe, as I got up I forgot their was water on the floor and I slipped. Just when I was about to meet the hardness and dirty mess of the floor, I felt two hands catch me.

I looked up to find those blue eyes, his hands helping me regain my balance. We stared at each other for a moment, as he slowly took his hands away. That feeling once more invaded me, I began to feel nervous, his presence bringing shivers up my spine.

"Tha-nks" I said. He nodded his head and then continued his path.

"Are you OK? You look really nervous and pale" questioned Clarissa, standing and walking towards me.

"Y-eah. I'm just...a bit dizzy for the almost fall, that's it." I walked over and continued to clean my mess, a few seconds later the bell rang.

"You guys can go, I'll probably take a whole before I'm done with this" I said

"Alright catch you later" cried Lydia walking off with Clarissa.

As I soon as they were pretty far, I let out a sigh. I sat back on the bench looking down at the little remaining water. I pushed back my hair, trying really hard not to think back on everything that occurred. At this point everyone already left the cafeteria, leaving only me and my thoughts.

I finished cleaning the rest of the water and slowly made my way to class.

Their was 3 minutes left before English class would come to an end.

Clarissa was talking to me about this episode of her favorite show but her words came through one ear and went out the other.

I remembered feeling his hands bring my back to balance, and our eyes stare down each other till death.

I put my head down on my lap as I placed my hands on my head trying to stop all possible thoughts.

"Oh my God! What's wrong? Ever since lunch...."

Her silence brought a fear and I rose my head immediately beginning to think of an explanation but once I saw her eyes look into another direction, I knew she wasn't thinking about the incident.

I turned to see what her eyes were glued to; It was him.

He was currently speaking to our English teacher about a H.W assignment in his class. The teacher turned to her computer searching for something and he turned to meet our eyes once again.

I quickly turned around breaking the contact. My eyes caught Clarissa waving at him and smiling to something he probably mouthed to her.

''Hey whats up with you?'' she asked, coming back to me.

''Oh nothing just...I don't really feel good.'' I lied. I couldn't believe how I managed to do that, I couldn't even look at her in the eye, feelings of betrayal were spread all over me. I knew I had to bring an end to all these constant thoughts.

The bell rang and everyone dashed to their last class. Clarissa and I walked across the halls making our way to the gym. We crossed the two gym doors, and found Lydia earlier than usual.

''Hey!'' cried Clarissa, running up to her. ''You're early!''

''Yep. I may have sneaked out a couple of minutes before the bell...no worries its legal''

We all chuckled at her statement, and continued walking to the locker room. We quickly changed and came back out. We did our exercises as usual, and then went outdoors.

I began to feel a bit better, each time talking more and more, having my normal energy as usual. I came to a conclusion that my thoughts were probably a feeling of gratefulness for him saving me from that hideous day.

As usual our day soon came to an ending, taking each of us in our separate ways.
