I looked up to him.

"Your kidding right?" I stated, laughing in between my words.

"Think what you want, but I meant what came out of my mouth."

I smiled at him, and he's bright white teeth appeared before me.

Now I saw why Clarissa was crazy for him, he is pretty attractive.

"You see something you like?" spoke Nathan, breaking my thoughts and my eyes who were glued on to him.

"Please! I've seen better." I lied. I started walking back to class, but his strong arms stopped me.

"So are you skipping with me?" he questioned, letting me go as I turned back to him.

"No thank you. I don't skip with guys like you, see ya!" I smiled playfully to him and made my way back to class.

I shook my head to this guy, he was funny, couldn't hide that. And very attractive indeed.....

What is up with me! I've said that like a thousand times!

I entered my class, and sat in my desk. I put my head on my desk, trying to forget everything that had occurred.

"He asked to skip with you?" questioned Lydia, as we walked outside during gym.

"Yep. I told you how it happened. He's such a weirdo."

"A CUTE weirdo." Corrected Lydia.

"Y'all talking about me right?" spoke a familiar voice who I knew only belonged to Nathan.

"Ha! You wish!" said Lydia, and then gave me a face that stated yes we were!

I smiled to her statement, and found Nathan's eyes on me.

"I thought you were going to skip?" I asked, looking at him.

"Well, you didn't want to skip with me?" he replied.

"You don't need my help to skip?" I said, raising my eyebrow.

"Of course I do" he winked at me, and then as he passed by, touched my chin with his hand.

"WTF?" I stated, walking to stand with Lydia as she watched Nathan walk off.

"Woah there!" Cried Lydia, laughing and looking at me. "That was very awkward."

"Right, thank God Clarissa wasn't here. She would be dying!" I said. And yes indeed, Clarissa would be very sad about this certain situation.

"Anybody could easily think you guys are....." Here words trailed off, and I knew exactly what she was talking about.

"You are out of your mind! Never will that happen!!" I cried, not even wanting
to imagine.

"You never know?'' She gave the typical, "I will be watching" face.

The bell caught us, marking the end of our conversation.

Those type of people that are anxious to leave home, were one of the first people at the doors blocking the entrance to many of us.

Waiting outside with Lydia, I send her the look of annoyance that only brought her giggles.

After crossing the doors and the locker room, I grabbed my stuff and headed out of the school.

"See ya tomorrow" called out Lydia, walking to her car that was close by the entrance.

I waved to her, as I kept on walking to my car.
