It's been a rough morning, really. Jongin fought with three nurses, refusing to change into normal clothes so he would look more "professional" for the paparazzi. He threatened to sue all of them if they kept harassing him.

After that whole mess, we ordered breakfast with our hologramic phone that's basically indented into the Chip already. He looked lost when he saw the bowl of sea urchin soup just sitting in front of him, waiting to be satisfied by the customer.

Instead of helping him like a friend would, I completely ignored him on propose. What are you supposed to think after something like that happens to you? It's not like you encounter such things in your life like that everyday, plus with all this bull we're put through...

"Miss Jung, what is it you're thinking of that puts you into a deep state of thinking?" Dr. Seo asks with his hands clasped together.

I completely forgot that Jongin and I are even in a physiological or therapeutic, whatever this even is, session with Dr. Seo. He's been going on and on about how the brain works and how the cells can die and whatnot after a traumatic experience. Even Jongin looked like he was about to fall asleep.

I fix my posture so my back is as straight as a honorable woman's and keep my hands in my lap.

"Did something happen last night? Please tell; I'm here to help you, Soojung," he leans forward and smiles. Do you think I should tell him? Jongin and I made a 'promise' to find out by helping each other out not exactly asking for doctors to help us.

"No, I just miss my mom," I bluntly lie and it seemed to work; Dr. Seo just slightly nods and then sits back into his chair.

"When you miss someone..." he continues with his boring ass lecture about more brain knowledge.

We stand up and bow in unison, not even 0.1 seconds off of one another. His torso shakes as his body bends forward, which makes a lot of sense to me. He's fairly skinny, plus, he hadn't eaten anything other than a sip of soup from this morning.

Then we say our farewells to the doctor even though I could even feel like he was sick and tired of being in that stuffy room with a talkative doctor like him.

I open the door and wait for Jongin to slowly pass through before I meet him in the empty hallway. I'm not so content right now.

"Hey, Kim Jongin," I stop him from walking any further. He stops and looks at me with confusion written all over his face.

"Do you not... remember anything that happened this morning?" I ask, avoiding eye contact with him. Nothing including the AC makes a sound as he just stares at me with his dark brown eyes.

He scratches his head. "We had breakfast...?"

I look at him again. "Do you really not remember anything before that?"

Jongin shakes his head and then continues walking. "I just remember sleeping and then waking up."

Oh.
