Chapter 12: "She's Mine"

Erin started eating her breakfast,Jay had fixed for her. Jay read the newspaper and chuckled. 

"Jay,when can I see the room?" Erin asked. Jay got up and kissed her then walked to the room. 

"Alright Erin. I'll let you see it." Jay smiled then helped Erin to the room. Erin's mouth shot open wide,she started crying then apologized for crying. Jay assured her it was fine. 

"Oh Jay. I love it. I love the police cars." Erin smiled big, as Jay hugged her. 

"I love you Erin and I'd do anything for you and my Jack." 

Owen stormed through the door, he threw his bag on the couch  then walked to the kitchen he was staying over for the weekend, his parents were going on a four day cruise. Owen sat at the kitchen table playing on his phone. 

"Owen! Homework, then you can play on your phone!" Jay yelled 

Owen scoffed then did his homework then he ran outside and started practicing baseball. "Hey bud, wanna come eat?" Jay smiled opening the back door. 

"Sure. What's for dinner?" 

Jay chuckled "Pizza, go grab a water or whatever I don't care." Erin smiled walking into the room. She hugged her nephew then sat down at the table. They all heard the door knock, Jay got up and opened it. In came Mikey running towards his cousin then Carlie put Harper on the ground and she wobbled over to Erin. 

"Hey baby girl." Erin picked her up and sat her on her lap. Harper laughed as Owen started tickling her. 

"Owen,take her over towards you. I wanna eat then go lie down." Owen shook his head, he grabbed Harper from Erin then walked over to the other side of the table. Carlie dropped the kids off then left to go to work. Jay had all the kids which he didn't mind because one day he and Erin will have more kids. 

"Owen, You can bring these two outside. They can play on the playset,just watch them please." Owen chuckled. 

"Alright Uncle Jay." Carlie worked at Chicago Med. 

"Harper,come see." Owen yelled picking her up putting her on the play set climbing up. 

Later on Mikey was falling asleep and Harper fell asleep playing with Jay. Jay had let Erin go to bed early since in two months they won't be getting much sleep. Jay let Harper sleep with him and Erin since she was used to sleeping in the bed and it was easier if she started crying. Jay put her down then walked into the living room and started cleaning up. 

The next morning Jay woke up to a billion texts from Gabby and Matt and everyone saying Sylvie went into labor late last night and she had the twins this morning. "Babe,Do you wanna go visit Sylvie and the babies?" Jay asked, Erin woke up and kissed him. 

"I'd love to. Get the kids up and we'll go. I'm sure Harper and Mikey want to see their mom." 

Erin knocked on the door and walked in. "Hey Sylv." 

"Hey Erin." Sylvie fixed herself and kissed her son's head. 

"This is Ryan Michael Borelli and my girl is Rylen Shay Borelli." Erin smiled. 

"Sylvie,they are beyond adorable. I can't wait for Jack to get here." Jay walked in holding Harper in his arms. He put her down and she ran towards her mom who was right behind him. 

"Hey Carlie." Jay hugged his sister,then hugged Erin. 

"Sylvie,they are adorable." Sylvie was two months earlier than Erin and Kim. 

"Alright well I just wanted to stop by." Erin and Jay left with the kids then went home. Jay fixed dinner. 

The next week

"Nadia,help me put this up!" Mouse yelled,holding up the picture in their apartment. 

"Alright. I'm coming." Nadia ran out of the bathroom and helped him put up the picture. 

"Nadia,I want to get married to you." Nadia smiled as he hugged her. 

"I do too,but let's wait though." 

June 31st 

Jay held Erin's hand as they walked into the district for the baby shower. Erin had no clue they were having it, Jay is surprising her. 

"Jay,why are we here on our day off? I don't want to be here." Erin complained. 

"You'll want to be here in a few mimutes." Erin smiled as she saw her team and family in the bullpen. Hank came up to her and hugged her. 

"Erin,I'm proud of you. You are going to make an amazing mother. Camille taught you and there's nothing I want more than to see her face when Jack is born." Hank shot Jay a smirk then turned Erin around towards Camille standing in the middle of the bullpen. 

Erin put her hands in her face and started crying. Jay hugged her tightly. "You're alive?" Camille shook her head then pulled Erin in for a hug. 

"I've missed you Mom." Camille just grabbed her tight. 

"You are going to make an amazing mother I promise. I'll be here to guide you through it." Erin wiped the tears from her face then let go of Camille. 

Hank walked over towards Camille and hugged her. "I've missed you baby." 

"You knew Jay?" Erin asked, Jay smiled 

"Yeah I did. I just met her a week ago when I went to the gym or you thought I did. Hank wanted me to meet her." 

"Erin,he's a wonderful boy. You picked a good one." Camille shouted. Erin placed her hand on top her bump and felt Jack kick for the first time. It was a bittersweet moment. Erin loved every second of her baby shower. Kim had a great time. 

Erin opened a present from Camille and Hank it was the last one. It was a tiny box, Erin tore the ribbon then opened the box to the heart necklace she had been eyeballing for the past few weeks. It had her name, Jay's, and Jack's on the heart in a circle. Jay hugged her tightly then put the necklace on her. 

Erin started feeling sharp pains in her lower back. She grabbed her back then grabbed Jay's hand and squeezed it. "Jay,I think that was a contraction."
