Out of the forest and into the jungle....
i got out of the forest thinking that constant battles with random pokemon and trainers were over but no, some more trainers were waiting, weirdly standing and looking around as if i was the person they were waiting for someone to make their day. They sure didn't make mine. My pokemon just couldnt take it anymore, Ralts could though. She's Ralts so of course. I tried my best to avoid unnecessary battles by dodging the trainers whenever they looked away. What creeped me out was how fast they turned back in a split second.
I finally got to Rustboro city and was tired out of my mind. i decided to rest at the pokemon center while my pokemon get healed. Afterwards, it was planning time. I went and set up my tent just outside the city and i let all my pokemon out and i look at them and hit the ground, "Alright everybody! time to start brainstorming!, i want to be known as a somebody, someone who could be noticed by the general public, someone who if people see me, they will already know who i am, but for starters i am at the bottom of the Frickin barrel. People already know Kyle because he constantly stops Team Magma heists!". Not something i would necessarily would know given that i've only encountered him once trying to stop a Magma attack. "But now its my turn, to be known as a hero i must first be known as a trainer, a rookie, an underdog slowly making my way to stardom! Any ideas?!". I point to Poochyena who was asleep (rude) and he gets startled and quickly looks around. No ideas there. I point at Torchic who fell over asleep just when i pointed at her. (rude but cute so im fine with that). Then i point to Ralts and she walks out of the tent and points to the gym. Idea sparked! Not that i didnt already have that idea.
I pull Ralts back in the tent and say, "Alright, how about before i get into the gym, i nominate myself as a trainer to be the next champion and hero of all of Hoenn". I was so passionate about all this that i forgot that people were walking by listening to me in my tent. Another thing i forgot was that i was talking to pokemon...who only say the name of themselves when they speak...and that i have no friends except Kyle...i guess. Either way, i had a plan so it was time to put it to use.
I pack up all my things, put pokemon back into balls and walk through the city with confidence. Surprisingly, there was no crime taking place like that Member said there would be. i was disappointed but relieved. i stop in front of the double doors and turn to whoever the hell could be listening and yell, "Listen up world! i am the next champion and Hero of Hoenn and i will not let this gym stop me from making my goal a reality". I charge into the gym and defeat the first two subordinates. Why they were children was beyond me, something the leader must prefer. Even though shes a woman...but either way, i make it to the gym leader and-
I wake up in my tent 10 minutes later. I see a letter at my side that said i blacked out and that the gym leader took some of my money. Now, my first thought was "Are you kidding me....she took my money...", but the bigger picture of course was the fact that i lost. I let out my pokemon and tell them what happened since they of course were knocked out and i just say, "Don't worry guys...this just means i have to try harder! i wont give up here". Torchic cheered, Poochyena sighed, but Ralts...she looked down. At first i thought she was upset we lost so i pat her head and told her not to worry about it but instead of sadness it seemed as if a large rage was growing inside her and it made her horn glow bright. I was afraid, i didn't know what to do since i've never seen this before, i couldn't contact Kyle because that would mean i would call for help making me a coward in frightening situations and i cant have that if i want to be a hero, so i lunged at Ralts and Hugged her tight startling all pokemon in the tent.
"Shhhh, its okay Ralts...its not that big of a deal...we're gonna train a little more and try again tomorrow alright. We're definitely gonna win and that's a promise..."
It calmed her down a bit that day...the horn still glowed but it wasn't bright...i still didn't know what to say but after all that, i think she took it as...
"Its okay...You will get stronger and then you'll have your chance...we will destroy them together...That's a promise..."
