The next day, I woke up and I sent out my Torchic. She yawned adorably and then looked at me and chirped. I smiled and then got out of my tent and packed it back up into my satchel. This thing is awesome seeing how it can carry everything i have. I wonder if it can carry a bike. Anyway, I stretched and i looked at Torchic.
"Alright Tor, i came up with a plan that i should've have done before i faced the gym leader. I'm gonna catch a Wingull!", saying that with strength in my voice, i looked at Torchic who suddenly seemed upset. I tried to process how she felt in my thoughts. She's a bird pokemon, Wingull is a bird pokemon, She was defeated, He might not be...oh man. "No no no Torchic, its only because of this!", I said as I took out my Trainer handbook. Someone dropped it and i would've returned it but they didn't look like a trainer. "See, Water types are stronger than rock types while Fire and Electric don't do a thing". Torchic started getting more upset. "I'm not saying you're useless! even if you are a bit weaker than rock types you can still burn with your embers, thats a big plus for us Tor". She started getting a bit happier and that made me happy.
"Just don't tell Ralts this okay?". She was listening to all of it though....
If i knew my map directions correctly, route 115 is north of Rustboro and there's a beach and where's there's a beach there are Sea- i mean..Wingulls. What the hell is a Seagull. I take Torchic and i walk through the city. I kept getting looks from people and i remember the things i said before i entered the Gym. Embarrassed, I picked up Torchic and ran through the city to the beach. When i got there i looked at Torchic and was so red in the face, "Why didn't you guys tell me that saying those things will make me look stupid!!". Torchic was so confused and scared and didn't know how to reply. (As if she could). I put her down and sighed and looked into the air. Wingulls galore. "Torchic use ember!". She did so to get the attention of the gulls and it attracted one. I put her back in the pokeball and sent out poochyena.
The second he was out and barking, he was put back in and Ralts came out. I was confused, "Ralts, what are you doing out here? I was gonna-". She turned and looked at me fast and looked angry towards me. I could tell because the horn was glowing and...i don't want to believe it but i think she thinks she might be replaced because she's not strong enough. I stopped taling and she turned back to the wingull and used Confusion and where it doesn't do much damage, it knocked out the wingull. Ralts then looked up at the circling, flying wingulls and used confusion on all of them. The ray coming off of Ralts let out a bright purple light with the sunlight and all of a sudden the wingulls started to drop one by one and I watched in fear. I had no idea that she had this kind of power. Ralts then walked over to me and just said her name to me. I walked past her and towards the lying wingulls and I heard nothing, except a small wingull noise. I turned to look at it, but so did Ralts. Before she could do anything I threw a pokeball at it and watched it shake. I successfully captured it. I was happy that i got what i came for.
I wasn't happy about the way I got it though...never again....
I turn and I walk to Ralts still standing there. "Ralts, you...you're not allowed to do that again, never ever again.i didn't ask you to do that and if this happens again i will release you!". There wasn't anger in my voice but fear. She must've heard this and she went back into her pokeball. I take a deep breath and walk away from the beach from all the fainted Wingulls and back into the City.
"This is why I never took my eyes off you Gallade...I knew what you could do...And if he keeps going down the path he's going then he'll eventually...", Gallade stopped Kyle from talking, "You're right, why do you think I'm watching him...". Kyle then walked back into the woods away from the spot he was observing me at.
