'Can I look at it?'

Usagi looks over the mapping system while we rest for a while. Night has fallen in the labyrinth, and since we still haven't encountered any foes we decided to stay here.

'It is useful?' She asks, looking at the part of the map I have already drawn. We had been walking around and mapping for half a day, and stopped two times to rest.

'Yeah. It works really well. It's created to make sure I can shut the screen within a split-second, when we get attacked for instance.'

She nods understandingly and gives it back.

'Dinner's ready!' Rinka calls to us with an hungry tone hovering in her voice. We can all cook a little, have our own specialties, but the best cooks here are Bakaito and Ritsu.

Today we're eating dinner created by the two of them. Meat and rice prepared by Bakaito, and some kind of salad of leaves and fruits made by Ritsu.

Rinka was buisy making the fire, and me and Usagi have gone over the map, so there's no desert.

'It's husk huh?'

I ask as soon as I take a bite from the dark meat. Husks are not uncommon in the labyrinth. They look a bit like large deers, with ivory horns and sharp teeth.

They prey on smaller "animals" but mostly not on us.

They live one floor down, and are easy to defeat by archers. It's the most common meat available, like chicken on earth.

What humans call rice is a little different from the labyrinth's version. According to the caretakers rice is supposed to be white and grow on plants. Here it's either orange or black and in grows in some sort of fruit, as its seeds.

So we're eating seeds... The black version this time.

Well, vegies are these leafs Ritsu pointed out to us along the way. They're sweet and non toxic, unlike many other types of leafs.

And fruits was Usagi's department today. Sweet Rems and slightly sour Musls. Those are our versions of Lemons and Melons. These also look different.

'It's good.' Says Rinka half munching her food down. Bakaito smiles at her before finishing his black seeds.

I nod in agreement to Ritsu who simply nods at me before continuing eating slowly, like usual.

'I wish I'd found something to make us some sweets with...' I say looking around. Not that I'll suddenly find the right ingredients, but I just look.

'Yeah, that would've been nice. Your sweets are always sooooooo good!' Rinka backs me up.

'Who takes the first shift?'
