Words don't mean a thing

We were finally home after a painful plane journey home. I just wasn't able to get my head around Tris' decision to leave the band, like what was he thinking? The boys will be devastated. Brad will be lost without his partner in crime! I couldn't even look at Tris for the whole way home. Harry also lived in London so me and him travelled one way while mum and Tris went back up to Birmingham.

'It was great meeting you Harry!'

'You too Jasmine!'

'Please, call me Jas' I tried acting cool but it failed.

'Oh my bad! Sorry, it was great meeting you too Jas'

'It's okay, no one really calls me Jasmine unless I'm in trouble' I laughed.

'Ah, I get you' he laughed back. 'Anyway, I better be going. Maybe I'll see you soon?'

'Yeah! I'm sure we'll see each other soon' I smiled as I said bye to Harry.

I went inside and fell onto my bed. I was so tired and there wasn't even a time difference! I was debating whether or not I should message Brad. Part of me desperately wanted to but the other part of me knew I'd end up telling him about Tris' decision so I didn't know what to do.

I must have fallen asleep because I woke up and it was the next day! I woke up to see I had been added to a group chat with the boys, Jen and Harry. Harry? He didn't know any of them.. Tris had called an urgent meeting.. today! He's not going to tell them he's leaving today, is he?!

'I just woke up... What time do you want to meet? I've got to get back up to Birmingham remember'

'Can you make it up for about 6pm?'

'Yeah should be fine'

'Hey Jas, we could travel up together if you want? I'll drive!'

'Sounds fab! See you about 2 o'clock x'

Shit. I didn't mean to send a kiss! Oh well, he knows I don't like him as more than a friend anyway.

It was reaching 2 so I went downstairs to wait for Harry. There weren't any other cars around so it was easy to spot which one was his.

'Hey! You okay?' I asked as I got in the car.

'Yeah, a bit nervous about why Tris has invited me up for this meeting though. I've never met anyone else there!'

'Yeah, I was surprised too! But don't worry, everyone's super nice'

'Okay, so give me the lowdown on everyone then!'

'The lowdown?' I burst out laughing.

'What? I need to be prepared!'

'Okay, so you know Tris obviously. Then there's James who is such a sweet guy, Connor who just loves food, oh and he also has a pet lizard!'

'A pet lizard?'

'Yeah! He's so cute! I always wanted one but Brad said no'

'Brad? He's the other member of the band right?'

'Yeah, he's basically Tris' other half except he looks and acts like a 12 year old'
