Torn between 2 (A Brad Simpson/The Vamps fanfic)

People like to talk but I can't understand a word

*3 years later*

*Jas' POV*

If you ask me where the time has gone, I have no idea. I'm about to start my final year at uni and I have loved every second of it. I've met the most amazing people whilst living in London but of course I'll never be able to forget about my friends back home. The girls have been down to see me at least once a month without fail for the last 3 years and we've been away so many times, it's like nothing had changed when we were all together.

To be honest, they are the only ones I still keep in conact with. Obviously I still talk to Tris but I don't hear much from the rest of the boys. It's quite sad really. I haven't seen Brad in 3 years which was heartbreaking at first but I guess I've just gotten used to it. We spoke a couple of times when I first moved to London as he would always be down here with the band so it was easy but so much has changed since then.

It's like I have started a whole new life in London as nobody knew who I was. By that I meant I didn't have people coming up to me every 5 minutes like 'omg you're Brad's girlfriend' which was strange but I guess it was better in a way. I led a completely separate life to the one I had before.

As far as I know, he hasn't been with anyone else since I left, not that it's any of my business of course.. I was seeing someone during my second year but it was never anything serious, more like a guy best friend I occasionally went out with but to me it was nothing more than a friendship. Things have progressed since then but I don't want to put a label on it. It's been a great 2 years but as badly as mine and Brad's relationship ended, no one could compare to Brad and I told him that. I wasn't in a rush to get into a serious relationship anytime soon, I just wanted to finish with a degree and see where life takes me.

In the last 3 years, Jen and Connor are still very much together but Holly and James ended shortly after we all started uni. I still don't know what happened there to be honest, none of us really talk about the boys anymore. Tris did end up seeing Lucy for a while but that faded out within a month and she moved again. My mum even met someone at salsa dancing classes! She says it's nothing serious but me and Tris think otherwise. I'm just happy she's happy.

At the moment I was back at home, I move back to London in a week. This summer has been a great one! Once exams were done, me and the girls all flew to spain for 2 weeks for a lovely girls holiday, it was amazing. I was sad that the weather couldn't come back with us! Then in the middle of August mum, Tris and I flew out to Greece for another 2 week, it was beautiful. I can't remember the last time I went on a family holiday, it must have been when I was really young. It was nice to just be away from home with my family and have some time to ourselves. Tris needed a massive break as the band had been touring all over the place non stop this past year, it's been amazing for them. It's good to finally see their hard work pay off.

I was currently working as an acting coach to children 12+ at a theatre school in London. It is the best thing I could be doing to be honest. One day I'd love to be acting on stage as a profession, that's my dream. My course at uni had a placement year in my third year so I spent the year working in a theatre doing things like helping with production, helping actors learn lines, work with the lighting team and all sorts of things like that. It was honestly the best experience! I'm excited for my final year although I know it will be tough but I can't wait to see what happens once I get my degree. Who knows where I'll end up!
