So long, farewell

Tris stayed over because I didn't want him driving back so late by myself and just because I didn't want to be alone.. Brad's text to Tris kept playing over and over in my head, I didn't sleep much last night. I dragged myself out of bed to see Tris who was in the kitchen.

'Morning!'

'Morning' I replied whilst yawning.

'I've made you breakfast' Tris had a huge grin on his face.

'Yep, I've definitely missed this! Thanks T'

'Welcome J'

'No, just stop' I laughed. 'Anyway, I have a lecture I need to go to, it's only an hour then I'll be back okay. Don't get into any trouble while I'm gone!'

'I'll be in exactly the same position you leave me in.. on the sofa watching tv'

'True, and you're already in the kitchen so you'll be fed!'

'Exactly so don't worry about me! I'll be fine, text me when you're done and I'll come meet you'

'Okay! I'm going to go get ready now so I'll see you in a bit'

I walked back to my room smiling at how lucky I was to have a brother like Tristan. I quickly jumped in the shower and got ready for my lecture.

...

My lecture had finally finished. Even though it was only an hour it felt like it went on forever. As I was walking out I received a text from Tris.

'Stay where you are, I'm coming to get you and I've got a surprise for you!'

A surprise? This sounds exciting! I sat on a nearby bench waiting for Tris. Luckily I was right in front of my accommodation so he wouldn't get lost. Then again it is Tris so anything could happen!

'SURPRISE!' Tris jumped up from behind me.

'Oh my gosh you scared me! What's the big surprise then?!'

He handed me an envelope and inside were 4 tickets to Portugal!

'Wait, why are there 4 tickets..?'

'Me, you, mum and Harry'

'Harry? Who's Harry?'

'My best mate from home!'

'Oh thank god, I thought you were going to say the fourth ticket was for Brad'

'No way! I'm not that stupid!'

'I know. So who's this Harry guy?'

'Oh I've known him since we were at primary school, he's basically my brother'

'So he's basically another you? Can't wait' I laughed. 'But wait! These tickets are for tonight?'

'Well done you can read' he clapped sarcastically.

I gave him evils. 'No I meant we have to leave now to get there on time but we need to go home and pack!'

'Don't worry we don't need clothes, we can just buy it all there!'

'Are you funding this shopping spree?' I laughed.

'Look, I'm doing this for you because I want you to relax and forget about everything here! So buy whatever you want, okay'

'Are you serious?'

'Yeah of course I am! Look, I know it's not your birthday or anything but it's my way of making things up to you Jas'

'Awww Tris you're the best, you know that?'

'I know' he said in a sassy voice. 'Come on then, let's get out of here!'
