Snow is falling

'It's CHRISTMAAAAAAS' I shouted through the cabin.

I put my Santa hat on, put Christmas music on loudly and went to wake up the girls. They weren't in either of their rooms? I walked around the place searching for them but couldn't find them.

'Soph? Tay? Where are you guys?'

'MERRY CHRISTMAS' they shouted as they jumped on me from behind.

'You guys scared me! I started to get worried!'

'It's Christmas! Where else would we be?!' Taylor shrieked.

All 3 of us looked at each other and then ran to our mini pop up tree that we bought along with us.

'Presents!' We all screamed together.

'Okay, I'm giving mine first' Soph shouted.

Taylor and I opened them at the same time. Soph had bought us both a necklace from Tiffany & co. It was a double heart pendant, one in silver and one in a bronze colour. I loved it!

'This must have cost you a fortune Soph!' Tay shouted.

'It's the perks of having rich friends' I laughed. 'I am in love with this necklace Soph, thank you so much! You really didn't need to!'

'Don't be silly!' She laughed. 'You guys are my best friends and always will be. I wanted to get you guys something that shows that'

We had a group hug before exchanging more presents. Me and Tay decided to do a huge collage for Soph as a pre-wedding present. It included every single picture we had of her, yes that meant those night out pictures and we also made her a book that included a message from all her friends and teachers throughout university.

After we all exchanged our presents and had Christmas dinner, we just relaxed on the sofa in front of the fireplace for the rest of the day. It was such a nice break away from everything but I was definitely ready to spend tomorrow back home with mum and Tris.

'Thanks for an amazing time away Soph!' I hugged her as I got out of the car. 'And thanks for dropping me all the way home! You really didn't have to!'

'Don't be silly, it's fine!'

'Why don't you guys come in for a bit? You must be so tired driving all this time'

'No, it's okay, don't worry Jas. You go spend time with your family. Say hi to your mum and Tris!'

'I will! Drive safe and text me when you get back home!'

'Yes mum I will' she laughed.

I walked in and saw mum standing there waiting to give me a hug.

'I have missed you sweetheart' she smiled.

'I've missed you too mum'

'Why didn't you invite your friends in?' Tris came round the corner.

'Oh, hello to you too!'

'Sorry!' He hugged me.

'Soph just wanted to go home and plus she still needed to drop Taylor home'

'They could have stayed the night and left tomorrow?'

I started laughing. 'You must really like her'

'Like who?'

'Taylor! I'm not blind, I do remember how well you two were getting on the other night'

He blushed. 'Yeah, she's cool, I guess'

'Wow, what a way to play it cool. Look, if you like her then I won't stand in your way'

'Anyway..' He changed the subject. 'What are you doing for New Years?'

'I was going to ask mum if I can have a party!'

'What, here?'

'Yeah obviously!'

'Yeah, I'm up for that! Make sure mum doesn't start doing her salsa dancing please!'

We both started laughing.

'Yes to the party and definitely yes to the dancing!' Mum came in from the kitchen.

'Great' Tris said sarcastically.

'Right, I'm going to go and tell my friends that they need to help organise this! Thanks mum!'

I text Soph, Taylor and Jenn telling them they were coming up the day before to sort it all out.

'Jas?' Tris said as he knocked on my door.

'Yeah?'

'Are you inviting Brad?' He asked as he walked into my room.

'Well I wasn't planning on doing so.. but if you want to then you can'

'Are you sure? I don't want it to be awkward'

'Yeah it's fine, I have to face him sooner or later right? Plus, there'll be loads of people there so I probably won't even bump into him'

'He might bring his new girlfriend too.. Is that still okay?'

I took a deep breath. 'It's fine, tell him to bring her'
