chapter 11 - our first scan (12 weeks)

its the night before out first scan i have my notes ready on the counter top my clothes hung up in the bathroom now its time to watch a bit of television as matthew popped over to see his parents i just hope he does not say anything till after tomorrow. lets see what is on looks like its the soaps what i had recorded bit of eastenders (cant believe this is still running mum watched this when i was a child). then off to bed as am so tired these days.on the sofa and i have my had on my stomach i have a lovely little bump and baby grown inside of me. as this has finished matthew walks through the door, hi babe am off to bed now can you lock up please, yeah sure i will follow up.

its morning am awake an hour before the alarm think its nerves for today so i leave matthew in bed i pop to toilet then go down for a cuppa and watch the news. i decide to start breakfast i fancy a full english containing ......

bacon

sausages

white egg

sliced fried red tomatoes

baked beans (in cans)

fresh sauted mushrooms

fried bread

black pudding

buttered toast, often spread with orange marmalade

tea

orange juice

as its almost done i set the table for two and a lovely fresh white flower in the centre of the table, and matthew comes down, i have made breakfast lovely hun could you give me a moment i think i left something in the car last night. ok babe hurry before it gets cold. as i put our full english breakfast onto the table matthew walks in, did you find it babe. yes i did thank you. now come on tuck in we need a good start for today.

laycee babe can i ask you some thing, yes anything babe is everything ok. yes everything is perfect, he gets down on one knee and hold a black box infront of him and says these words, 'laycee will you make me even happier and marry me'. OMG yes yes i will marry you, am over the moon you said yes,i will always say yes to you your the love of my life. he pops the white gold dimond ring onto my finger and it fits like a glove and feels so right.

its almost 1 pm my appointment is soon lets go we hop into the car drive to the doctors and wait to see the sonographer.am called in i get upon the bed get myself sorted and he scans my stomach 'little man' have grown wow thats my baby i say to matthew, he holds my hand with a little squise he tells us everything is great baby is grown well the heartbeat is perfect. am so happy everything is going great now its just telling evryone. matthew i have an idea we get everyone round to ours and put a bit food on and tell everyone that way, thats sounds great babe lets do it. chris the sonographer we all done you can go and here is a few pictures for your little party, oh thank you chris. we leave the hospital and pop to the store to get party food. when we get in the house matthew rings his family and close friends and i ring my family and close friends. and all happy to come after 5 pm gives me a chance to get food ready am so happy cant wait to tell all.
