Person A:You forgot to get me Valentine's chocolate, don't tell me you forgot to get me Easter chocolate!

Person B:*internally screaming*"

Dan sat on the couch in the shared apartment, his arms crossed and a cute pout on his lips as he waited for Phil to get up. It would be very soon, Dan was sure of this. Any holiday and Phil was up early. This was especially demonstrated at Christmas.

He was pouting because, once again, Phil forgot the chocolate. Dan knew this, because the few times Phil had gotten a small little something, it'd be wrapped up -not so neatly- on the dining table. Now, Dan wasn't the most needy person the planet, but he did appreciate the thought that went into remembering to get your partner a small something on holidays.

And then, lo and behold, there was the handsome devil himself. Along with his messed up bedhead. Dan had to shake away a small smile as he saw Phil. He had to stay mad at him, remember?

"Hey, Dannybear." Phil greeted cheerfully. "Happy Easter!" he plopped down heavily on the couch next to Dan, leaning in to give him a kiss.

Dan didn't return the lighthearted greeting and turned his face away from his boyfriend.

"Dan?" Phil asked, a trace of concern in his voice. "You okay? Is it another existential crisis? Do you want to cuddle?"

Dan shook his head.

"What's wrong, Dan? Please tell me, otherwise I can't help!"

Dan sighed. "This is stupid," he mumbled. "But I'm just kind of upset that you didn't get me any Easter choc late...I'd let it go usually, but you forgot on Valentines day, too...."

Phil tensed. Whoops, he knew he forgot something again. Of course. He was such an idiot. He internally facepalmed.

"Oh no, I'm sorry baby! I just...I've been so busy filming and editing, I promise I didn't do it on purpose!"

Dan shook his head, a small amused smile on his face. "It's fine, Phil..." he said softly.

"No, I can see it's not." Phil complained. "I'm really sorry...Want me to go out and get some–"

"No," Dan interrupted. "It's not that important. Seriously, don't worry about it." He reassured Phil, who had his bottom lip out in a sad pout.

"..Fine..." Phil agreed. "But you do believe me, right?"

"Of course I do." Dan smiled, leaning backwards to lay on Phil's chest.

"Happy Easter, Dan." Phil said quietly, stroking Dan's hair.

And, later that day, Dan found a small Easter basket filled with some cheesy plastic eggs and chocolate.
