Ryan and Brendon were laying in the grass on a hill somewhere near Ryan's apartment. Ryan had his arms behind his head, and his left leg was over his right knee. He was bouncing it absentmindedly.

Brendon was laying to the right of Ryan, hands laying on his stomach.

They were both rather quiet, laying there calmly.

Brendon was close to falling asleep, until Ryan spoke up.

"Hey, B, you see that cloud?" he asked, taking one hand from behind his head and pointing a finger at the clouds.

Brendon cranes his neck to try and see it. He shakes his head. "Nu uh."

"Looks like a cat."

"I don't see it," Brendon responds, crossing his arms behind his head. "It looks more like a crocodile."

"Well you're not seeing what I'm seeing. Because it most definitely looks like a cat."

Brendon rolls over onto his side in order to face Ryan.

"Do you see what I'm seeing, though?" Brendon asks, eyeing Ryan.

Ryan shakes his head. "No...?" he says, unsure of what Brendon means here. He sits up to get a better look at Brendon.

Brendon does the same, and leans in closer to Ryan. "Well, I see a beautiful boy who looks lovely in flower crowns, for one."

Ryan looks away and shyly adjusts the flowers in his hair.

"He has beautiful eyes, too. Especially now, in light of the sunset," Brendon watches Ryan, tipping his head to the side slightly, a smile hinting at the corners of his lips.

Ryan lets out a high-pitched whine and hides his face in his sleeve, too flustered to look at Brendon.

Brendon grins and continues. "Oh, and don't forget his hands. Such long, slender fingers. I'm sure they're very good at--"

"Brendon!" Ryan interrupts, looking up, blushing madly. He didn't want to know where that sentence was going.

"--playing guitar." Brendon finishes, smirking.

Ryan huffs and rolls his eyes, the blush still painting his cheeks as he keeps his eyes down at the grass.

Brendon leans closer, his nose near the tip of Ryan's ear.

Ryan looks up, and Brendon is really close, holy shit. A bit close for his personal comfort, actually. But hey, it's Brendon Urie, and Ryan is fine with Brendon Urie being this close to him.

"And..." Brendon started, gazing at Ryan. "Don't forget," he leans in even closer, making Ryan's heart race skyrocket. "...about those pretty, pink lips," he said lowly, leaning in.

Ryan could see every detail of Brendon's face, but he didn't have time to take it all in before Brendon leaned in all the way and kissed him.

Holyshitholyshitholyshit, was Ryan's only thought process. He didn't have any control over his actions, so, he gave no response.

Brendon pulled away, his eyes sparkling with amusement."Oh, is the boy who's so good with words out of words now?" he teased. But his words were tinged with an edge of wariness. Maybe he made the wrong move...?

Ryan shook his head and blinked forcibly. He stared at Brendon for a few seconds before going and tackling him down into the grass and kissing him, actually kissing him this time.

Brendon was trying to hard not to laugh, so the kiss was rather sloppy, but the two of them enjoyed it anyways.

"It's good to know you feel the same, then," Brendon said, relief evident in his voice.
