imagine one person in your polyship hoarding the halloween candy for themselves. who tries to find it, who already has a stash of candy, and who helped the person hide it?

It was the night after Halloween, and the Panic! boys had quite a haul of candy. They had divided it up evenly, trading least-favorite candies for other favorites.

That is, until it all went missing...

"RYAN!" Spencer whined.

"What?" Ryan sighed. Why was he designated the adult of the group?

"THE HALLOWEEN CANDY IS GONE!"

"What??" Ryan asked again, eyebrows knitting together. "I swear it was all in the kitchen last night, though."

Spencer shook his head and pointed at the vacant cupboard.

"It appears you're right," Ryan muttered, sighing. "I have an idea on who took it...."

Well, Ryan seemed to be wrong. It wasn't in Brendon's room. He checked. Twelve times. And yes, even under Brendon's bed and in his closet. But all he met was Brendon. In the closet.

"Brendon, first of all, what the fuck? Why are you in the closet? Ansecond of all, where's the Halloween candy?"

Brendon grinned back at him. "I'm not in the closet, I already came out to you, remember?" He said, squeezing past Ryan. "And, no clue."

Ryan groaned. "Woww...."

Brendon watched Ryan leave the room before quickly diving onto his bed and digging in his pillowcase for a delicious sweet. Jon had said to hide it there, since Ryan would never think to look in Brendon's pillowcase. Oh, Brendon had said he'd let Jon share more of the stash if he helped hide it. (Jon was only allowed a small bit. Yeah, Ryan's rules.)

Ryan now sat on the couch with Spencer, pondering on where the fuck it had gone.

"It didn't just grow legs and walk away..." Ryan mused. "It has to be somewhere. And I swear to God Brendon took it, its just like him.  He was just more crafty in hiding it this year."

Spencer nodded, but didn't say anything.

Ryan sighed heavily before resignedly getting up off the couch. Time to go interrogate Jon.....

"Jon," Ryan declared loudly, sitting down on the edge of Jon's bed.

"What?" Jon drawled, looking lazily up at Ryan from where he was scrolling on his phone.

"Where the hell is all the Halloween candy?"

Jon shrugged. "I dunno, I didn't touch it." Which was technically true, he just told Brendon where  to hide it.

Ryan narrowed his eyes. "Uh huhhh, suuuuuuree you didn't. And Brendon's straight."

Jon sat upright quickly. "What?!"

"It was a joke, you imbecile."

"Ah..."

Ryan huffed. "Fine, if you don't know where it is, whatever..."

With that, he stormed out of Jon's room.

Meanwhile, Spencer had retreated to his own room in order to yup, eat his own candy. Separate from Brendon's stash, since he fucking knew Brendon would steal it all.

"Spencer," Ryan said, knocking on Spencer's door before opening it. "Jon said he didn't know where the candy is, so I--" he stopped in the middle of his tracks when he saw the huge pile of candy wrappers.

Spencer looked up at him guiltily.

Ryan placed his hands on his hips and stared at Spencer. "Just...why?"

Spencer coughed and swallowed before responding. "Well, I knew Brendon or Jon would steal all the candy, so I kept most of the candy I collected to myself..."

Ryan let out a light sigh. "Of course." he muttered. "Well, okay. Why'd you act like it was the end of the world that the whole group stash disappeared, then?"

"Um...I didn't want you to suspect anything?" Spencer squeaked.

Ryan massaged his temples. "Why are the three of you so against me?"

Spencer was silent until he said, "Well, do you want some of my candy? I'm pretty sure Jon and Brendon are sharing their candy, so I'll share with you?"

"Where is their candy, though?"

"Uh...I honestly don't know?"

"Hm. Alright. Yeah, I'll share some of your candy. Hand me a Butterfinger."

Ryan sat cross-legged on Spencer's floor and they ate candy. Ryan thought that yelling at Jon and Spencer could wait.
