Chp. 8

Rosie P.O.V

I felt a someone move underneath me and wrapped their arms tight around me. I smiled when I realized that it was Cody. Out of all of the people in the world he cares about me. When I told him my story I thought he was going to leave or make fun of me but he stayed. I felt warmth circulate my body and I felt an odd feeling in my chest. In his arms I felt like no one could hurt me or break me apart. Honestly for once I think I felt the feeling of being safe and secure. I put my head back down on his chest listening to his heartbeat. After a couple minutes I felt a heard a buzz coming from the floor. I leaned down trying not to wake up Cody which luckily he didn't. It was my iPhone saying that Kailey had texted me.

Kailey<3: Heyy gurlie guess what??

Me: What?!

Kailey<3: My mom said I can visit you soon:)

Me: That's beyond amazing!

Kailey<3: Yeah and I'm coming by maybe in a month or two...

Me: Yay!

Kailey<3: Well its about 11 over where you are and its like 3 in the morning here lol so i gotta go.

Me: Oh ok well I love you<3 :*

Kailey<3: I love you too<33 :**

I did'nt bother telling her about that I was sleeping practically on top of Cody Simpson because she would've called and flipped out on me. I threw my phone back on the floor gently so it wouldn't crack. I felt Cody move once again loosening his grip on me.

"Hey love." He said in his raspy voice obviously still a bit sleepy. I tried controlling my blush but probably failing miserably. "Good morning to you too."  He chuckled lightly at my response. "Are you hungry?" I was hesitant with my answer but I wanted to make Cody happy. "Yes." He noticed at how nervous I was about because he squeezed me hand with his. Instead of me getting up and walking to the kitchen Cody picked me up over his shoulder. "Cody!" I screamed laughing and he just did the same thing.

He put me down laughing at me how i squirmed out of his grip. He smiled while I just playfully slapped his shoulder. "Well thank you for that wake up call." I smiled showing my teeth. "You're quite welcome." I just glared my eyes at him while he went to grab some cereal.

I always get this odd feeling in my stomach whenever he smiles or when his arm brushes against mine. I always find myself smiling whenever his name is said or when it somehow finds its way into my head. I sat down at the table watching him pour some Cocoa Puffs into the bowls. "Do you want milk?" I blinked out of my thoughts looking up at him. "Uhh y-yeah." I said nodding my head looking down at the table.

He set the bowls down and my stomach churned at the sight of it. I picked up my spoon but then put it down. "Are you okay?" I looked at him nodding my head. His eyes shown hope for me and it gave me strength to actually eat. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Alli and Ryan walking in the kitchen. "Good morning or good afternoon?" Alli said it more like a question when she read the clock saying it was 11:45 which is either morning or the afternoon.

"Cody you didnt get us any cereal?" Alli looked over at us and made an 'O' face when she saw me. "Yeah mate why did you just get you and Rosie cereal?" Ryan spoke up. "She's special." My eyes widened and I looked down blushing. I dont know if he meant by that I have a problem or that he liked me. I somewhat have a feeling its the last option but yet I did tell him my story yesterday. "Okay well were just going to go upstairs now." Alli then grabbed Ryan's hand and ran up the stairs.

Alli P.O.V

"Oh my god! Ryan babe did you hear what he said?" I was jumping up and down yanking his arm. "Owwh Alli chill they're just friends." He yanked his arm back rubbing it slightly, "Do you honestly think that?" I said crossing my arms against my chest. "Well I guess I mean they could like each other." He just shrugged his shoulders obviously not caring about this. "So you agree?" Wrapping my arms around his neck resting my forehead against his. "If you kiss me then yes." He said putting his lips onto mine. I pulled away blushing and smiling. "I agree." He said laughing.

"Can you guys do that somewhere else? I gotta wake up at 12 o'clock." Evelyn mumbled. "Umm hun its 12 right now." I said looking back into my room. "Are you serious?!" She said lifting her head up worried. I nodded my head. "Fuck!" She yelled getting up. "Evelyn?" Greyson popped his head up confused of why Evelyn left his arms. "Sorry babe but I have to be at the airport in like 2 hours." She said already heading down the stairs with her clothes hanging out of the bag.

Rosie P.O.V

After Evelyn left it was pretty quiet in the house since my Aunt Marcie was going to work. I was  bored so I decided to go for a walk. I went into my room walking into my closet. I put on a white belly shirt, my denim jacket, tan skinny jeans, and my black knee high boots. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and put on light make up.

I locked the door behind me walking past Cody's house. "Hey Rosie can we talk?" I heard Alli yell through her window. "Just walk in." I opened up her front door and headed towards her door. I walked in sitting down down on her bed. "What do you want to talk to me about?" I said leaning my head back on her wall. "Do you like Cody?" She said loudly. I gave her the "are you crazy" look. "Don't worry he's surfing with Ryan and Greyson. Now tell me do you like my brother?"

I sat there shocked and confused. I mean i'm honestly confused about how I feel. I feel so safe and happy around him but he famous and I don't think I can handle any more hate. Alli sat there looking intently at me waiting for an answer. "Yes." I finally said looking out the window. "He makes me happy and safe inside. He listened to me when no one else would. He's amazing." I said that all smiling at the thought of me and him being together.

Alli got up screaming and started laughing while running around the house. I got up chasing after her laughing. I heard a big crash coming from the dining room. I heard the front door opened seeing Ryan, Cody, and Greyson walk in confused about what just happened. I walked into the dining room laughing while the boys just looking at us confused. Alli was tangled with chairs laughing her head off. "What happened?" Cody asked scratching his head. " Me and Alli were running around and she tripped over the chairs." I started laughing again.

"Okay well I have to go home now. I'll talk to you guys later." I said making my way out of the dining room. " Thanks for the help!" Alli yelled. "You're welcome!" With that I shut the door and walked home.

So can I just tell you something? It's not always going to be about Rosie self-harming and ED. I just needed you guys to understand Rosie's life more. Well I tried talking to my crush and I failed. :( But oh well I can always try tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed it! ~ Brianna xoxo
