Chp. 16

Rosie P.O.V

When I saw the rose petals I was shocked and confused about what Cody's surprise was. Honestly this was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen a guy do. I really liked Cody... No scratch that I'm in love with him. I don't love him because of his fame or money. I love him because of how I feel safe around him , how he makes me feel beautiful, how by just one thought of him brightens up my day, and how he just makes me feel like I belong here in this world. I always get butterflies when he's around , I smile whenever I hear someone say his name, every time our hands touch a shock goes through my arm right into my heart, and his voice makes me want to kiss him until  our life times end. He makes me feel complete inside. I feel like i'm truly on cloud 9 with him.

I felt warm hands go against my eyes sending a small shiver down my spine. "What are you doing?" I said as he guided me towards an unknown part of the beach. Well I couldn't see where I was going since he was blocking my vision. "We're almost there." He whispered in my ear. I tried controlling my blush and smile but failed miserably. He walked me over a couple of feet until I felt a blanket or some sort of cloth under my feet.

"Were here." He released his hands from my eyes and I gasped. I t was beautiful there was a checkered blanket, a basket, rose petals, and candles scattered around us. "Cody Simpson did you really do this all for me?" I smiled up at him as he nodded. He glanced down hiding the blush creeping up on his cheeks. "Do you like it?" He seemed so shy and it was just adorable. "It's beautiful." I gave his hand an reassuringly squeeze.

"It's almost sunset you know." Cody said slinging his arm around my waist pulling me closer. "You weren't lying when you said that Australia's sunsets were the best." I chuckled lightly. "Cody how did you come up with all of this." He looked away before looking at me with a huge goofy grin. "My mom actually helped me." I laughed making him look away blushing.

We ate chocolate dipped strawberries while watching the most beautiful sunset with the most amazing guy ever. I was sitting down resting my head on Cody's shoulder. We talked about everything and he didn't once get annoyed at me. I love how we can trust each other with our secrets knowing that we wont tell a soul. Sometimes I feel the way I got bullied wasn't nearly as bad as how much hate Cody gets. They always compare him Justin Bieber and he just tries so hard to show them that he isn't a Justin Bieber wannabe. It know how he feels always being pressured to be perfect 24/7.

"Rosie?" Cody's soft voice filling my ears. I lifted my head up looking into his eyes. "Yeah?" He slowly started getting up. I looked up at him confused as he took off his shirt. "Cody why are you taking off you're shirt? Trying to impress me with you're abs?" I playfully said. "No but y'know that you love them." He said winking. "Stop being so cocky and tell me why you're taking off shirt?" I said a bit serious. "Go for a late night swim with me?" I laughed but stopped realizing that he was being serious. "I don't have a bathing suit and I don't feel like getting wet." He started to laugh. "You pervert!" I slapped his leg, pouting. He really wanted me to go swimming at 9:00 PM. I've never gone night swimming because I have a small fear of the ocean. "So that's a no?"

I shook my head looking towards the waves hitting the beach. I felt arms go under my legs and arms picking me up. "C-Cody?!" I was really scared that he might throw me in. "Relax love I'm not going to put you in."

I smiled resting my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat. He walked into the water and I tensed up a bit. "Rosie do you trust me?" He asked softly almost nervous to hear what I would say. "Yes." I trusted him with my heart and soul. He got waist deep stopping as he just stood there holding me in his arms. I just wonder what my mom was doing at home or how Evelyn was doing. My mind wonders to every single person and aspect in my life and it gets quite agitating.

I looked up at Cody since I felt his gaze on me. Our eyes met and I got instantly lost in his light blue eyes. They always shown bright and they never dimmed even if he was upset. I have this pull to them that I cant yet explain but I know later in life I would. "What's gotten you all smiling?" He said breaking the trance I was in. "You." I looked away trying to hide my blush from Cody. "I love how every time you blush you look away." He laughed making me look up at him. " I do not!" I splashed water on his chest. "Do you really want to splash me again?" He taunted me I guess I'm going to get wet after all. I wiggled out of his arms and into the cold water. I got closer to him standing on my tiptoes. "You're on!" I said splashing him in the face.

Cody P.O.V

I felt cold water hit my face realizing that she had splashed me.  We splashed each other for about 10 minutes before my arms started getting tired."Having fun?" I yelled through the splashes hitting my face. She stopped splashing, her eyes showing happiness, and smiling wide. "Yeah I feel like such a kid again." She chuckled lightly. Her laugh always made my heart beat go crazy and made a smile form on my lips. "So do you surrender yet?" I said swimming closer to her since she backed away a bit to the shore."Maybe." She said playing with the water in her hands.

Once I was standing up right in front of her she pulled me into a hug. Her arms found their way around my  waist hugging me tight. I hugged her back and kissed the top of her head. This was the perfect moment to ask her out but I was still nervous to ask her. I made sure to ask her aunt, mom , and her best friend which they all gave me permission to. 

Rosie P.O.V

I was in peace right where I was with Cody. I felt Cody's hand on my jaw and I looked up at him. He crashed his lips onto mine sparks flying through my body. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling his lips closer to mine. My knees were weak as our kiss turned into a make out session. It was getting harder to stand up straight so I jumped on Cody wrapping my legs around his waist. His mouth tasted like saltwater and strawberries. It was an odd mix but it felt like pleasure in my mouth. We broke away our foreheads resting on each other.

Cody's eyes were on mine making me forget that my legs were still wrapped around his waist. " Can I ask you something?" Cody's voice turned into a really nervous stutter. "Yeah you can ask me anything." I said looking for some happiness in his eyes but they were clouded with worry. "Promise me you wont say no and leave me?" I nodded. "I promise now Cody please ask me." At this point I was really curious to what was making him so nervous.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" My smile showed my asnwer as I quickly kissed him on the lips. "Yes, yes, and a million more!" His eyes showed relief and happiness. "Wait so does this mean I get to kiss you whenever I want to you know whenever I'm here?" Cody seriously asked. I laughed "Yes you can kiss me whenever you want me too."

"You had another question for me though." I added on.  "It's actually something that you might say no to." He looked away sadly. "I'm probably going to say yes now c'mon ask me." He took a deep breathe before he spoke. "Will you go on tour with me?"

Cliff- hanger! Sorry if this chapter sucked I was watching One Direction and Cassadee Pope perform on AGT so I got distracted. I really do not like school. So many couples and I'm over here all alone and single:'( Well hope you enjoyed this chapter goodnight!:* ~ Brianna xoxo
