For awhile, he kept on glancing over at me. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. Did he think I was rude for not saying sorry when I bumped into him? I saw him pull something from his bag out of the corner of my eye but didn't want him to see me turn my head to see what it was. I heard a pen click. He must've started to take notes. I didn't hear the teacher say to start notes. Maybe I hadn't heard. I went to reach for my bag and suddenly felt something tap my arm. It was a small piece of paper. Had he thrown it at me? I looked at the paper and could see letters on the folds in the paper. I picked up the note and unfolded it.
"Hey. Sorry if I hurt you earlier.
I should've moved out of your way. I guess you got me back with your bag though huh? Sorry.-Andrew "
I looked over at him to see him smiling at me. I clicked my pen and started writing a response.
"It's cool. Sorry I hit you with my bag. You probably won't believe me but that was on accident. Sorry if I was rude :)
-Melissa "
I threw the paper to the side and he caught it. He unfolded the paper and chuckled as he read it. I saw him write something else before he quickly threw it onto my desk then turned to do his work. I unfolded the crumpled paper and read the words "I believe you. :) "
