When I come to, my vision is blurry for a couple seconds, but I finally realize where I am. I'm in the school parking lot. I rub my arm. It still hurts and I remember falling on it, I think. I look around and Andrew is the only person with me. We're standing next to Connor's car.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Why are we in the parking lot?", I ask as I rub my head.
"I figured you wouldn't want the nurse poking at you all day or calling your parents so I told everyone that I was taking you to the nurse but brought you here instead. I figured you'd be okay since this seems to be a normal thing with you.", he slightly chuckles at his own joke but I continue to rub my head.
"Thanks. You were right about the whole 'calling my parents' thing. This isn't supposed to keep happening and if it does then my mom is sending me away to live with my dad. For my health or whatever but that's not it." He takes a step closer to me and puts his hands on my waist again. This guy... I smile, not able to hold it in any longer.
He pulls me closer then leans in and kisses me real quick before saying, "Well I hope you feel better and that you DON'T get sent away. I mean... I JUST got you. I'm not giving you back any time soon.", he laughs then gives me a big hug. When he breaks away he looks at me, "Wanna hang out later? After school? We can get to know more about each other." He smiles, awaiting my answer.
"Sure. That'd be cool. Then maybe you can tell me why your so mysterious.", I tease glad that he's not freaking out about the whole fainting thing.
