I was at a loss for words... He was still standing there in front of me, just waiting for my answer. I subconsciously crossed my arms in a defense type pose.
I replied, "Why would you want to?"
He smiled and, slowly, took a step closer to me. I automatically stepped backwards right into the gate. He put his hand through his hair again then looked down at me.
"You're really.... Interesting, ya know that?"
I went to step back again but realized I was against the gate. Damn it. I turned and went around him to head to my car. He grabbed my arm, stopping me.
"Wait, you never answered my question. About starting over?" I sighed and pulled my arm free from his hand.
"Sorry", he apologizes.
"If you really want to then sure. Yeah. I guess we could." He smiled and I just turned around to head to the car.
"It's cool we bumped into each other." He yells over to me. "I'm glad you found me."
I nearly stopped walking. I just turned and gave him what was probably the most awkward smile and then got in my car.
