In the morning, I woke up to a headache. Why the hell did I dream of me and Andrew? Whatever, I needed to hurry and get dressed for school. I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair back into a ponytail. I quickly put on my white T-shirt along with my dark skinny jeans and grabbed my socks and shoes to head down stairs. I walked into the kitchen expecting my mom to be there cooking as usual but instead I found a note,

Hey love,
Sorry I couldn't make you breakfast today. I'm off to go to a job interview. The cereal is on top of the fridge and I put the milk on the top rack in the fridge. I love you! Have a good day at school!

-Love Mom

I set the note back down and started to reach for the cereal but stopped when I saw the time on the microwave. I'm gonna be late! I quickly put on my socks and shoes and grabbed the keys to dad's old car in the garage. I grabbed my bag and rushed outside. I drove as fast as, legally, possible to school and parked off to the right in one of the remaining spots.

I got out of the car and ran to the gate. It was locked... Damn it. I was too late. I couldn't go through the office since my mom wasn't here to sign me in. Ugh, my headache was getting worse. Maybe I could just wait until they opened the gates at lunch and just sneak in then? No. I sighed in defeat and turned to go back to my car. When I turned around there he was. Andrew was standing right in front of me. I tried to say something but I was so surprised that nothing came out. He just chuckled and said,

"Hey, I found you."

I stopped. Did he just?... From the dream? No, he couldn't even know about that. He continued,

"Sorry about yesterday. When I laughed about you dropping the pen. It was rude. I drop stuff all the time.", he laughed and put his hand through his hair.

"Well...", he chuckled, "I was hoping maybe we could start over? I mean when we first met I knocked you down then sorta laughed at you for dropping a pen... Not the best introduction. So do you think maybe we could be friends?"
