I decided to stay home for the rest of the day. I couldn't go to school after that strange encounter with Andrew. When I arrived back home, I parked in the garage. I started to make my way towards the door but tripped on my own feet. The palms of my hands slammed into the cement sidewalk. I picked myself up and looked around to see if anybody had seen what a spazz I was. Thankfully, nobody was around. I looked at the palms of my hands and they were completely scrapped up from the loose gravel on the cement. My left hand had a huge gash across from my thumb joint across to the other side. I looked back down where I had fallen and, sure enough, a small piece of glass was there on the pavement with all the gravel. Lucky me.
I grabbed my stuff off the ground and headed inside. I put my bag onto the floor and went into the bathroom. Once I was all bandaged up, I went up to my room. When I reached the door I nearly slipped on something. Before I could fall, I caught myself on the doorknob of my room with my bad hand. I cried out in pain and winced as I looked at my bleeding bandage. Today was just not my day.
I sighed and turned to see what I had slipped on, ready to throw whatever it was out the window. I rolled my eyes, seeing what it was. It was that freaking pen again! I picked it up, opened my window, broke it in half and threw the pieces out into the street. I wasn't kidding when I said I wanted to throw it out the window. I lied down on my bed, exhausted from everything and now fighting a headache. I slowly began to drift off into a deep, well deserved, sleep.
