I had waited until lunch finally came. I wanted to laugh when I told Penny and Connor about my collision with the new guy earlier. I found them at our usual booth from last year that Connor reserved for us since his last class was so close to the cafeteria and he got here first. Penny was already sitting with her bento box lunch. She said she'd bring one every day claiming that they'd helped with some diet she was on, even though she needed to be gaining weight instead of losing it. I sat down with my lunch as well. "So?", Penny asked me. I looked at her and felt my eyebrows furrow in the middle. She rolled her eyes as if I was supposed to know what she was referring to. "I heard you ran into the new guy and... You basically chewed his head off!" Wow. News traveled fast... Connor looked up at me and smirked. "What? He rammed into me in the hallway and knocked me down on my butt then told me he expected me to move. Like it was my fault for not excusing his majesty. Seriously, people need to lighten up. I didn't "bite his head off", I barely said anything." They both shared a glance, first at each other, then at me. Connor teases,"Wow... Remind me not to bump into you in the hallway." He laughed and shoved a bunch of French fries in his mouth. Penny laughed,"Well, either way, he's absolutely gorgeous", she smirked. She winked at me while I just scolded myself for getting so angry. I just couldn't help it... I couldn't quite explain why, but I had a weird hatred for the guy. I didn't even know his name.
