"Naomi, it's midnight." Eric sighs, giving me a concerned smile.
"We only have till 2 a.m Eric." I pat his shoulder. "We have another five wishes."
"Okay, fine." He stands up. "What are we doing now?"
"So...you do remember where your ex lives right?" I ask.
"Which one?"
"Ryan Halemet." I look down, kind of embarrassed.
"Why?..." Eric places a hand on my shoulder.
"She's the bitch that's getting her food..." I look back up at him.
He's...cute-I mean close... heh...
"Alright." Eric chuckles. "What are the condoms for?"
"She's currently dating Andy Krysalk, I really don't want to be an extra in Sixteen and Pregnant." I laugh, hoping for a few laughs back. Eric chuckles with me.
I got some!
Not that it, uh, matters?
Who are you kidding? It means the world to you when he laughs.
"Okay, I do know where she lives in fact." Eric grins at me. "It'll cost you."
"I've already decided my night to you." I scoff.
"Isn't it the other way around?"
"No, no." I laugh. "I actually decided to talk to you again."
"Why did you? I mean, don't you hate me?" Eric asks, the smile vanishing into thin air.
"Eric, I don't think this is the time to talk about this..." I sigh, reaching out to him.
"It'll never be the time to talk about this, will it?" He barks, stepping back.
"Eric, please." I sit down on our bench under our willow tree.
Eric stares at me for a moment. "Oh god, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it, Naomi. I, I'm just...tired." He sits down next to me and lays his hand over mine.
"I'm a bit tired too, wish six might help." I giggle, looking up at him.
"Is it getting coffee? Oh I would kill for some coffee!" His eyes light up.
"Something better, but we could stop for some coffee."
"Are we breaking into a swimming pool?"
"No, but that would be fun. Don't you think?"
"Yeah. Then again, you pretty much make everything fun, Naomi." Eric's eyes quickly look over my face.
My lips curve upwards into a much needed smile and my eyes meet his. "We should probably go drop off the things now."
"Yeah, let's go catch a bus."
"A bus?"
"She lives far from here."
"Can't we walk?"
"You'll freeze to death." Eric gestures to my attire. "And it'll take us about half an hour."
I look down a see my black tank top with straps so thin you can see my grey bra straps. "At least I'm wearing long, fuzzy pants."
"Grey pajama pants aren't gonna help your arms." Eric sighs, taking off his hoodie. His shirt rides up a bit. He quickly hands me his hoodie and smooths out his shirt. "Please wear it."
"Won't you be cold?" I frown, holding his hoodie in my hands.
"I'll be fine. Please wear it." Eric smiles. I slip the hoodie over my head and my arms go into the sleeves. Of course, it's a bit big on me. The sleeves go past my hands and the end of the hoodie goes past my waist.
"Thank you. Let's start walking." I grab his hand, running out of the park to the nearest stoplight.
