The day seemed to dread on, I had no idea what time it was but it seemed late. Being in here is going to make me go insane, I need to get out as soon as I can.
I sat down in the corner and faced the wall, I let out a long sigh and ran my hand threw my hair,
"Hey, kid." I heard a voice say from the outside of my door.
I turned to look who it was but I saw noting but darkness,
"Go away," I snapped, turning away, "I'm not in the mood to talk to any one."
"I can see that," the voice said, "Look, I just want to hear your side of the story. Why did Batman throw you in here?"
I remember hearing that voice before. It sounded oddly familiar, I stood up and turned around to see Kayla Anders, also known as the Hooded Huntress. She used to be Dick's girlfriend, after they broke up; Dick stopped talking so much about her. I widened my eyes, unsure if what I was seeing was really there,
"Kayla..? I whispered, knowing it wasn't the best idea to say her real name out loud. I walked over to the door to get a closer look,
"No shit, why did Batman throw you in Arkham?" She asked again and I shrugged,
"Long story short some..." I paused and I started getting a small flash back of Kiara and I standing up on the roof top flashing through my mind. I shaked my head and continued to talk, "asshole injected me with some fear toxin. I went a little crazy, killed a few people, batman threw me in here after he found out." I grumbled,
"That's a stupid reason to throw someone in an Asylum," She said, "Wait, you killed someone?"
"I know you dont really know much about me but that's a surprise to you? Have you ever killed a man? It's a wonderful way to relive stress." I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes, "I honestly don't know why he did, maybe he wasn't thinking right."
"Okay, i was in the league, I've killed a lot of people. Also, he has the technology to get the toxin out of your system."
"I don't know why he did it then. I was feeling pretty fine and starting to feel 'normal' again but then he just threw me in here with out warning. All I did was ask for help and now I'm in here. Do you have any other questions or is this it?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.
"No, I just wanted to hear your side of the story. Try not to get killed." Kayla said and walked off,
"No promises." I mumbled to myself and sat back down against the wall.
I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes,
"Was that your girlfriend?" I heard the same female voice from before taunt me from the other room.
"Nope, just an old friend I guess." I shrugged
"Get some rest kid, the second day is always usually the hardest."
"Who are you?" I asked, standing up
"You'll find out someday." The mysterious lady said and i rolled my eyes,
"Whatever." I scoffed and layed down on the thin mattress.
My eyes felt heavy and they burned. I rested my head on the pillow and fell asleep listing to the weird and terrifying sounds Arkham had to offer.
