I usually don't have trouble sleeping, but now I did. Everytime i closed my eyes all i could see was red. I knew the room around me was silent, but all I heard was the screams of the inmates at Arkham. I shuddered and closed my eyes again, trying to think of something to help me fall asleep.

I heard the window open and i opened one eye to see Jason and Kayla climbing through. Jason closed and locked the window and took off his hood. Kayla took off her hood and mask and i sat up,

"Hey how was patrol?" I asked, tiredly.

"Good until this one showed up." Kayla said motioning to Jason.

"Hey, I probably saved your life." Jason protested

"I didn't need it." Kayla rolled her eyes

"So that's why you left in such a hurry. Who did you bust?" I asked

"Clayface." Jason simply said

I nodded and layed back down on the couch,

"Well good job, and if you'll excuse me, i need to sleep."

"Nope, not yet." Jason said and walked off,

"Hmmm, I just want to sleep." I grumbled and rolled over on the couch,

"Didn't get much sleep in Arkham?" Kayla asked

"Ever spent several nights in an insane asylum?" I responded

"No, and I don't plan to."

"Don't, I didn't eat much either the food was shit."

I heard Jason walk back into the room holding a plastic black trash bag. I raised an eyebrow and glanced over at Kayla who had the same questioned look on her face. He walked over to me and dropped the bag on me,

"What the hell is this?" I asked, sitting up glaring at the bag.

"Open it and find out." Jason said, sitting on the edge of the wooden coffee table.

I opened the bag and saw a clump of black, gray, and red fabric. I knew what it was the minute I layed eyes on it,

"New suit?" I asked closing the bag

"Yep, your old one is back at Arkham so I figured you'd want to get back in the vigilante game after what happened."

"Thanks," I smiled, "it looks rad as hell."

"Welcome, get some rest kid." Jason said and then turned to Kayla, "and you too."

"I'd rather go shoot some thugs." Kayla shrugged

"Not happening." Jason replied.

I yawned a little and I felt my eyes droop. I layed my head back on the couch, too tired to do anything; too tired to sleep, if that makes sense,

"Can you two take, whatever this is, some where else?" I quietly asked yawning a bit, "some of us here are trying to sleep."

"Sorry, didn't mean to disrupt your beauty sleep." Kayla sarcastically said

"Piss off." I muttered and closed my eyes.

"Come on, let's leave him be." Jason said and the two of them left the room.

"You left the lights on." I muttered to myself, not bothering to get up and turn them off.

I layed on the couch, looking up at the ceiling. I knew it was late, maybe around one am or so. I sat up and got off the couch, I was mad at myself for not getting any sleep. I looked down at the bag that held my new suit that was laying on the ground. I grabbed it and slowly walked to the small bathroom.
