The elevator doors opened and I was greeted with Bruce packing up the bat shaped jet, the Batwing, while wearing the batsuit. He looked different, probably because he wasn't wearing his bat-mask. Bruce was alone in the Batcave, I think time alone in the Batcave can be the best thing if you're trying to clear your mind.
I stood in the elevator, not bothering to move yet until the thing beeped and started to close its doors. I stuck my arm out, hoping it would detect me and open back up. The doors spreaded, and I limped through them. By this time, Bruce seemed to notice me,
"Ready?" Bruce asked, grabbing his cowl mask thing off of the table,
"Yeah, I think so.." I responded, scratching the back of my head and looking around, "What am I going to wear? The Robin suit?" I asked, jokingly,
"If you want too." Bruce blantly answered
"What about Damian? Wouldn't he be upset or something?"
"No, he will be alright with it. He's going back to the league to visit his mother in a few days." Bruce said and turned to me, waiting for an answer,
"What suit would I wear?" I asked,
"Yours, of course. Every Robin has their own suits. Want me to get it?" He asked,
"S-sure." I said, in shock. I was only Robin for one night, probably the best and worst night of my life,
Bruce walked back over to me and handed me a dark red suit with yellow and black detail. I slowly made my way over to the locker rooms and i changed. It was a little difficult to put it on at first, a little painful too. I didn't want to call in Bruce to help because that would be very awkward. After about five minutes of struggling, I got the suit on. I walked up to the large mirror hanging up on the wall. Being Robin was a big thing to me, it broke my heart when Bruce said I couldn't do it anymore.
I ran my fingers through my hair, it's gotten a little darker since I last put this on, I also grew into it more. I put my hand over the 'R' emblem on my left side and took in a deep breath before closing my eyes. I opened them and exhaled, I walked out the locker room door and went over to Bruce,
"Ready?" He asked, opening up the hatch to the Batwing,
"I can't go out without boots, and you know; a mask." I answered with an eyebrow raise,
"Drop the sarcasm." Bruce said then handed me a black cape with yellow trim, a pair of dark green gloves, my gold colored utility belt, and my dark green mask.
I laced up my boots and slipped on my gloves. I was pumped, I was so ready to fight by Batmans side and to be called "Robin". I put on the cape and then my mask,
"Now in ready." I said with a smile,
"Hop in." Bruce said and he climbed into the jet. I climbed in after him and sat in the crowed space behind him.
The Batwing was huge, but the seating area isn't. it's only a two seater, it's a good thing now that no one else went with us. I wonder how Jason was doing, I should text him when we land. Dick needs to calm down and accept what's going on, I kinda understand him though. If a brother like person to me started dating my girlfriend like, right after we broke up; i would be pissed too. They should really talk it out though.
Bruce flipped some dials and turned some nobbs. The dashboard in front of him lit up like a christmas tree. A large space in the roof of the Batcave opened up and we shot up into the sky and made our way to Blüdhaven
