I sat on the couch in Jason's apartment, bored as could be. I hoped whatever Bruce wanted was quick and had nothing to do with me. I heard the front door unlocked and I looked over to see Jason and Kayla walking through the door,
"What did Bruce want?" I asked, hoping Bruce didn't bring up what happened last night,
"Apparently you two had a little run in last night." Jason spoke up, shutting the door,
"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you guys about that, didn't think it was important. Did you know that I was on the news?" I asked, trying my hardest to change the subject,
Kayla opened her mouth and was about to say something but was cut off by the tv,
"Two villains known as the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit have broken out of Arkham Asylum last night, police are on the search." Vicki Vale announced on the TV,
"Well fuck." I heard Kayla mutter
"Just looks like more problems we have to take care of." Jason sighed
Kayla sighed and started walking off,
"Where are you going?" Jason asked
"Just to lay down for a bit, rest my eyes. I'm tired as hell." She said and walked down the hallway.
Jason nodded and the turned to me and a small smirk grew on his face,
"Do you mind if I ask you a few questions, Warner?" He asked sitting on the edge of the wooden coffee table,
"What kind of questions?" I asked, raising an eyebrow,
"Just a few, I need to get to know you a little."
"Okay.. what's the first question?" I asked, a little unsure about this,
"Okay, have you ever killed anyone?" Jason asked
"Yeah, if you're wondering how much, I've killed four people."
"What kind of people were they?"
"Two were thieves and the other two were muggers."
Jason nodded then cleared his throat,
"So, what kind of experience have you had with guns?" He asked,
"My dad was a police officer and he took me out shooting once, but that's pretty much the only gun experience I have."
"Well now i'm going to teach you a little something." He smirked and stood up and walked down the hall to his room, leaving me on the couch.
I waited for him and he came back, carrying a small duffel bag. He moved the coffee table into an open space and sat down on the floor, laying the bag on the table,
"Come and sit," He motioned me to sit down in front of him. I got up and sat down on the floor across from him. He opened the bag and pulled out a shiny black gun,
"Desert Eagle, might be a little powerful for you but I can see you running around causing trouble with them," Jason laughed a little then pulled out another gun, this one smaller and not as shiny as the last, "9mm glock, this is the kind of gun GCP uses. Not as powerful as the Eagle's, but it's good for beginners."
"What if I don't want to use a gun?" I asked,
Jason frowned a little and zipped up the bag,
"Do you want to use a gun?"
"Yeah I do, but what are the other options?" I asked and he unzipped the bag,
"Just your fists? Maybe I could teach you how to use a knife?"
