I stumbled to the apartment building, holding my hand up to my shoulder to slow down the bleeding. My shirt was pretty much soaked in blood, I hope Jason didn't mind the new stain on his shirt. I saw that Jason's and Kayla's bikes were parked outside and I sighed in relief.

After navigating my way through the buliding, trying to avoid everyone else in the apartment building, I made it to the door of Jason's apartment. I swung open the door, happy that it was unlocked. Jason was standing near a window and he quickly spun around when the door busted open,

"Jason," I breathed out, "I think we have a problem."

"Oh shit," Jason mumbled and sprinted to me, "Kayla!" He yelled and helped me over to the couch,

"What?" I heard Kayla yell back,

"Bring in the first aid kit now!" He yelled and grabbed some scissors off of the table. He snipped off the shirt and Kayla walked in, holding the first aid kit,

"What happened?" She asked, handing Jason the kit,

"What do you think?" I asked as Jason dumped some rubbing alcohol on a rag and pressed it up to the hole in my shoulder,

"Seriously, how did you get shot?" She asked,

"I was at a coffee shop and I ran into my ex. We started talking and then the window exploded and then I got shot." I explained as Jason started to patch me up,

"GCPD should be there." Jason said, glancing over at Kayla,

"I'll head down and see of I can find anything." Kayla announced,

"As Kayla Anders or as The Hooded Huntress?" Jason asked

"GCPD won't let anyone across the police line unless you're Batman." Kayla said and Jason nodded.

Kayla walked back to her and Jason's room and Jason finished with his makeshift bullet wound patch up. Kayla walked back out and climbed through the window and started to head off to the coffee shop,

"What were you doing at the coffee shop?" Jason asked, wrapping a bandage around my shoulder,

"Getting coffee?" I said, my eyebrow cocked,

Jason rolled his eyes, "haha," He said with a bit of sarcasm, "Well, it's not the best, but it's something." He noted, nodding to the bandage on my arm,

"Thanks," I smiled, "I'll probably stay away from coffee shops for a while."

"Maybe a smart idea," Jason shrugged, "I got some of your stuff back from Bruce's. Mostly clothes and some other things from the old BlackBird trunk. I'll go grab it." He said and started walking down the hallway,

"Thanks again," I said and put my foot up on the table,

"Not problem, dude," Jason shouted from the other room, "I didn't even know you liked coffee."

"I'm not that into it, just needed some caffeine." I answered and he walked back in carrying they black trunk I kept in my old room back at the Wayne Mansion.

He set the trunk down next to the tv and tossed me a black and blue striped tank top I remember getting when Dick took me out clothes shopping. I put on the shirt, making sure to be careful with my arm. Jason sat back down on the couch and turned on the TV.

He reached over and grabbed a pack of cigarettes off of the table,

"Want one?" He asked,

"Sure." I shrugged and he handed me a cigarette.

Before he could spark his lighter, Kayla came walking down the hallway, carrying a bag,

"Found nothing at the scene except for some scared people and shattered glass." Kayla said and sat on the arm of the couch next to Jason,

"So we're gonna let the police handle it?" Jason asked,

"Yeah, there's nothing we can really do. We're not dealing with a well known criminal. The person was a pretty good and quick shot."

"Why did I get shot though? There were a bunch more people." I asked,

"Closest person maybe." She shrugged and stood up,

"Where you going?" Jason asked,

"Pack for Star." Kayla replied walking down the hallway.

Jason nodded and lit his cigarette and took a drag. He then lit mine and I took a small puff.

Kayla walked back out and waved goodbye to us. Jason stood up and gave her a hug before she opened the door and walked out. Jason plopped back down on the couch and put out his cigarette in the ashtray on the table,

"So, earlier you said you would tell me about the whole thing with Scarecrows daughter." He hinted with a small smirk,

"It was my birthday and I was out on patrol. While out, I stumbled upon on an office buliding on fire," I took a drag, "I was searching the building for people and then I got kicked out of the building. I grappled to a building and then got injected with Fear Toxin. Time skip to about a week later, Dick and I went out on patrol and then I ran into the person who injected me. The person started stalking me and then we sorta started to become like friends or something."

"Well don't just stop there." Jason laughed, lighting another cigarette,

I took another drag then tapped off the ashes in the ashtray, "She wanted me to help her rob a bank, I said no. Bruce threw me into Arkham and I broke out, with the help of Harley Quin-"

"Wait, Harley Quinn helped you break out? Did she know who you were?"

"I'm pretty sure. My assigned therapist helped with the whole break out thing too. Anyway, as soon as I got out, I went to my now ex-girlfriends house. She broke up with me on her door step and then you found me in the alleyway. I started talking to her, Kiara, again and then one thing led to another.."

"Ah," Jason nodded and took a puff, "Are you still talking to this Kiara?" He asked,

"She's leaving to Blüdhaven in a few days. I dont know why, but I dont really want her to go."

"Maybe it's for the best." Jason shrugged and I nodded.

I dropped my cigarette in the ashtray and grabbed the remote and started to flip through the channels,

"How did the whole thing at Bruce's go?" I asked,

"Alright. He knows about Kayla and I, doesn't know about you being here. Kayla told him that he should apologize to you."

"You think he will?" I asked,

"I'm not sure. Maybe." Jason shrugged,

I nodded. I didn't know if I could trust Bruce again after what he did to me. I sure as hell don't want to go back to the mansion. I let out a sigh, my head hurts and so does my arm,

"Get some rest," Jason said and stood up, "You've had a long day. I'm going to grab us some food, stay here." He said and walked out the door, locking it behind him.

I nodded and closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
