After tying up the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit, I looked over to see Kayla awake and Jason comforting her. I jogged back over to the two, still furious about the whole thing with Scarecrow,

"I'm fine." Kayla said, looking around the room,

"You're not fine. I personally know what fear toxin does to a person." I responded, wanting to leave,

The room fell quiet and the police sirens started to shine in through the windows,

"Let's go." Jason spoke and the three of us got out of the warehouse as fast as we could.

The three of us headed to the rooftops and started to run home. My mind wandered to a fantasy land, I lived peacefully with my parents and I was happy. I can't really remember the last time I was generally happy. My perfect world was distorted and I was zapped back to the gritty Gotham City rooftops when Kayla stopped, causing all of us to stop,

"Looks like the Bat is here." She sighed and pointed out into the distance,

"Let's make a run for it?" Jason said, unsure if just running would work,

Kayla nodded and so did I, running is probably the best option. The three of us ran across the rooftops and grappled from building to building. I used to get a rush and some kind of high from this kind of stuff, now it's just something I have to do for my twisted and now sorta boring job.

The three of us arrived at Jason's apartment and we climbed through the window. I took off my mask as Jason and Kayla did the same. I knew we were going to discuss everything that happened, I just hoped that they wouldn't bring up what Scarecrow said,

"So Warner-" Jason started,

"You slept with the daughter of the Scarecrow?!" Kayla exclaimed,

"It was a one time thing." I shrugged,

"What else have you been doing?" Jason asked, leaning up against a wall,

"Nothing. A lot has happened and my mind just isn't in the right place at the moment, but we have bigger problems right now," I said, now changing the subject, "the toxin in Kayla's system."

"The best thing is to go to Bruce and have him flush it out." Jason suggested, he was acting different not like his usual self. This whole thing with Kayla must have him worried,

"You think he would do it?" Kayla asked,

"Why wouldn't he?" Jason said, slightly raising his voice.

There was now a dead silence filling the room. This place was stressing me out, I need to go somewhere and calm my nerves. The whole thing with Kayla and Jason's sudden anger and change in mood wasn't helping it. I let out a sigh and out my mask back on and walked to the window,

"Where are you going?" Kayla asked as I started climbing out of the window,

"Clear my head for a bit." I shrugged and grappled out of the window.

I sat down on the roof of Wayne Enterprises, my feet dangling over the edge. I sighed and looked at the city below me, I wanted to change up the BlackBird routine a bit, I just don't know how. I was bored, I needed to go do something. I jumped off the edge of Wayne Enterprises and grappled my way to the warehouse where I have been spending most of my time.

I arrived at the warehouse and walked in through the back door, taking my mask off as I walked in. As soon as I walked in, I saw Kiara pacing up and down the room. She looked over at me and had sort of an angry, yet happy look on her face when she saw me,

"War-" She started off and I cut her off,

"What the hell were you thinking!" I yelled, throwing my arms up in the air, "Your dad knows about.. whatever we are, why did you tell him!?"

"Warner, calm down please.." Kiara whispered, now standing in one spot,

"Calm down?! I can't calm down, the people I was with know about it and they probably lost all of the trust I worked to get from them."

"What, are you embarrassed about what happened?" She said, now starting to get angry.

"No, I'm not embarrassed. It just doesn't look good for me. I slept with the daughter of one of the most dangerous threats in Gotham. Why did you tell him?!"

"I didn't mean too. The things that happen in my personal life just seem to slip out when i'm around him."

"Did you tell him who I was?" I asked, still mad but trying my best to calm down,

"No. I wouldn't do that." She crossed her arms over her chest and looked away.

I plopped down on the couch and i rested my forehead on the palm of my hand,

"Warner, can I tell you something?" Kiara asked, after a minute of silence

"What is it?" I muttered, not looking up at her.

"I'm leaving. I'm going to Blüdhaven, it's not safe here for me with my dad here and all." She quietly said to me.

I felt my heart sink, I don't know why but I felt sad that she was leaving,

"Why?" Was all i could say. I didn't put much emotion to this simple question,

"My dad is in Gotham, Warner, I can't stay here. Things will get... bad if i do."

"Fine. Just one less problem for me," I had some trouble saying those words, "When are you leaving?"

"Four days. It's probably best if we don't see each other anymore. It will probably put you at risk with my dad and I don't want you to get.." Kiara trailed off then blinked a tear out of her eye. She walked over to me and pulled me into a tight hug, "You don't care. Goodbye." She said and started to pull away from the hug

I wrapped my arms around her before she can fully pull away from the hug. I wasn't a hug person, I got a lot of hugs from people I just don't really hug people back; but I did today. I felt my cheeks heat up a little and I pulled away from the awkwardish hug,

"Bye." I muttered and put my mask back on before walking out the back door.

I pulled out my grappling hook and shot at a building, I started to run across the roof tops until i heard a gun shot nearby. It sounded close and I frantically looked around until i saw someone bolt out of a gas station holding a giant black bag. I frowned and followed the guy to a back alley that was near the gas station.

I quickly thought of a plan before jumping down near the man. I sure took him by surprise because he dropped the bag and let out a yelp. He spun around and i was face to face with him. He pulled out a gun and aimed it at my face. I rolled my eyes and quickly disarmed the man and dropped him to the ground in a choke hold,

"Was that gun shot yours?" I intimidated the man,

"Yes!" He yelped, his voice full of fear.

"Did that gun shot kill anyone?"

"Who are you?!" He started to squirm, which only made my grip on him tighter,

"Answer the question!" I yelled

"Yes, it did!" He cried out and i rolled my eyes,

"The name is BlackBird." I whispered in his ear as my arm wrapped around his neck.

I kept my arm around the man's neck until he stopped moving. I got up and grabbed the gun. I emptied the bullets and took out my grappling hook,

"Five." I muttered to myself as I grappled back to Jason's apartment with the gun.
