Prologue

[Taeyeon from Fairies became the top search in Korea. ]

[Kim Taeyeon's new OST has topped the charts last night after it was released in an hour. ]

[Top 5 talented and beautiful female idols.]

Taeyeon scrolled through the articles after typing her name,articles related to her appeared on the screen in seconds. She heaved a sigh. She didn't want that much attention.

Her phone was quickly snatched away from her grasp.She looked up and saw Elle looking through her phone.

"Tsk,self conceited much."she scoffed and threw the phone back to Taeyeon who caught it before it touched the floor. Taeyeon rolled her eyes secretly. Living in the same dorm as her members,she knew that her members dislike her a lot from the start. She didn't even do anything to them,but they always ignore her and insult her in the dorm. They outcasted her when they talk in a group, but in front of the camera, they will suddenly act all friendly with her like they have been best friends ever since they were trainees.

"What happened?"Koey asked as she passed by with a can of Diet Coke in her hand.

"Have you seen the article about her being a better vocalist than me?"Elle turned towards the leader of the group, pointing at Taeyeon as if she is just an object.

"You know, you shouldn't be affected by this if you know that you are a better vocalist. "Taeyeon said, deliberately triggering Elle, who glared at her.

"Then just try and sing better next time."Koey said,ignoring Taeyeon and patting Elle on the shoulder.

Taeyeon got up from the couch and was about to march into her room until Elle muttered behind her.

"Pathetic b*tch. Always making our life miserable."

Taeyeon pretended to not be affected by it and closed the door behind her as soon as she reached her room. It hurts. She has to endure their hurtful words and comments for two years. She has to receive the comments like she deserves it.

One of the really rare advantages about getting disliked by her members is that she gets to have the whole room for herself. The other members share a room, two per room. Taeyeon doesn't have to worry about the other members sleeping habits and how to share the room equally with another member.

But at the same time,she felt lonely. For two years, they have been together in everything, yet they still treat her like nothing. They treat her like she doesn't deserve to debut and that she got everything served to her in a silver platter, like OST offers, name on the search bar almost everyday and getting the spolight every time she belts her high notes on live stages.

At first she understood how they are feeling as all of them trained for years to debut yet she only trained for a four months before debuting. Her popularity in Korea is higher that the rest of the members too, which made it unfair for them. It's like everything is just given to her, but honestly, she did work very hard to be where she is today, her members just don't see it.

She thought her members will get use to her after these two years, but nobody really cared about her. She thought she could rely on the leader of the group, Koey, but she is just the same as the others, always having Elle's back instead of hers for once.

As the maknae, she thought that she should at least receive some love from her members. But none of them treat her like one. Johyun is always sticking beside Elle, so naturally, they are inseparable and always supportive of each other.

Krystal however is different from the rest. Taeyeon thought she could at least lean on Krystal, but she is a naturally quiet person and never really talks to the other members. Taeyeon approached her a few times, but she just ignored Taeyeon like the others.
