Chapter 7

I woke to the loud crashing sound of thunder. I couldn't help the whimper that escaped my lips. I know thunder and lighting are silly things to be afraid of but ever since a little girl went missing during one I couldn't stand them. This one was defiantly not a exception. I silently crept out of the bed and walked towards the bathroom. I know it sounds weird a really freaked out girl heading towards a bathroom but what can I say I really had to pee. When I was done with my business in the bathroom. I hurried into bed and tried to block out the noise and the light from the storm with the thick blanket but it wasn't working. I then added a pillow over my head trying to find some way to block out the horrible storm and the nightmares it always brung.

"What's the matter"? A voice whispered.

"I'm scared of storms like this". I whispered back.

"I'll stay with you". The voice said it was obviously a guy cause the voice was so low.

"Lin push your ass over". The voice said which I assumed was Eric cause he was the only one who called me Lin.

"You have enough room". I groaned.

"Trust me I don't".He whispered back.

I started to scoot over when I very loud crash of thunder sent me flying into Erics chest. I whimpered so Eric started to stroke my hair like my nana did when I was scared and I couldn't help but drift off to sleep.

I wish I had woken up to the sun streaming through the window and the birds chirping merrily outside but no life was to cruel and sent Ally to me who was at the moment jumping on me yelling for me to wake up because we had school. The instance school was brought up I hoped out of the bed sending Ally crashing to the floor. I looked at the bed and was surprised to see Eric wasn't there.

"Owwwwwww". Ally groaned. "What the hell was that for"?

"Sorry. I have to get my stuff from my house for school". I said.

"What do you need? Eric brought your backpack and school stuff and I'll give you clothes. See no need to go to your house".she said in a duh tone.

"Ok. Thanks".

"Come on time for breakfast will get dressed afterwards". She chirped.

Who the hell was this chirpy in the morning? No one I knew. I followed Ally down stairs to the kitchen and was happy to see they had lucky charms my favorite cereal in the world. I waited patiently for Ally to tell me if we were going to be making our own breakfast.

"The cereals over there". She said pointing towards the counter that had a ton of cereal boxes on top of it.

"Bowls are in that cabinet and spoons in that draw".

I headed for the bowls first, grabbed a spoon then headed for the lucky charms then I went to the fridge for milk. When my cereal was made Ally led me out to the dinning room were we sat down in the seats we sat down in last night. We were the only two down here and without the rest of the family the house sounded quiet.

"What the hell are you two doing up right now". Eric said rubbing his eyes.

"Getting ready for school stupid".Ally said.

"We have no school". Eric replied.

"yeah we do".Ally said.

"No we don't". Eric replied.

"Yeah".

"No".

"Yeah".

"No".

"No".

"Yeah". Eric yelled.

"Hahaha I win". Ally gloated.

"There's really no school". Eric said seriously.

"Really now". Me and Ally said together.

"Jinx". I shouted out before Ally.

Eric laughed at Ally's puppy dog face. She was pleading with him to get him to say her name.

"Well because of the storm last night the school was flooded and we have today and tomorrow off". Eric said.

"Oh and by the way Ally, Ally". Eric said while smirking.

Ally pleaded with her eyes.

"Ok fine but you owe me something Ally".

"Ughhhhh come on Eric we could of dragged that out". I pouted.

"She would have hurt me". Eric said.

"Hey dude and dudets". Mike said walking in lazily clearly he must have just gotten up.

"you know we have no school right"? Eric asked him.

"Awesome I'm headin back to sleep see you around two". He called over his shoulder as he walked away.

"Let's go watch a movie". Ally said.

She ran up the stairs excitedly with me and Eric right behind her. She stopped when we stepped through a door that led to a huge movie theater like room. The flat screen on the red walls was like 58inches! There was a nice stereo system and a case full of movies. For chairs there were nice comfy sofas in white lined up in front of the T.V.

"Were watching Marley and Me". Ally said.

"Yay I love that movie". I squealed.

"Thats a girly movie". Eric complained.

"To bad two against one". Ally said in a sing song voice.

We all got comfy with me and Ally on a couch together and Eric on one by himself grumbling about how girls suck. I was surprised he hadn't mentioned last night. As the movie got to the part were Marley dies me and Ally started to cry. We couldn't help it the dog was just so cute and even if he wasn't are dog we had fallen in love with it.

"ooo stop crying it's just a movie". Eric said.

"You have no heart thats a sad movie". I said.

"Yeah exactly". Ally agreed.

"I know it's sad but there's no reason to cry over it". Eric sighed.

"Hey what time is it"? I asked. I figured I would need to get home soon.

"Time for you to get a watch". Ally said while laughing.

"No seriously".

"11". Eric said.

"I think I should head home now".

"Alright I coming with though". Ally said.

"Sure what ever".

When me and Ally got to my house it was really quiet. I figured Taylor was at some boys house and my mum was at work. I only lived with my mom because when I was thirteen my mom and dad split. My dad got remarried a year later and hasn't talked to us since. That's when Taylor started treating me like crap her being a slut was a new thing it started when she turned fifteen.

"What do you want to do"? I asked.

"Anything". She replied.

We hung up stairs in my room watching T.V. and reading magazines by the time my mom came home it was six and Ally had to go home for dinner.

"Honey do you know where Taylor is"? My mom asked.

"No sorry". I sighed.

"Ok when she comes home we have to have a serious talk".

"Ok mum".
