Chapter 21

I don't know how losing a person even a mate could hurt so much but it did and somedays my heart hurt so bad the would collapse on the ground begging for it just to stop. I told my heart over and over again that I hadn't completely lost him he was just mad and you cant be mad at a person for ever. Or could you?

I honestly didn't know didn't know the answer to that all I knew was it seemed like it Connor hadnt tried contacting me at all. It was my birthday and I was going today whether I liked it or not. Everyone had forgiven Ally and I except for Connor. Eric was first forgiving us a day after Connor left. Mike soon followed I think just mere hours after Eric. But seeing as today was the day I changed everyone stayed home from school. Billy thought it best seeing as when I changed was was not known and the humans didn't need to be aware us werewolves excisted. Taylor was the only one who went to school today because unlike everyone else she didn't give two craps about my change and she said so.

There was a soft knock at the door and then my mom entered.

"How you feeling sweetheart"? My mom asked looking at me worriedly.

"Fine mom. I feel perfectly fine". I replied trying to reasure her.

"That's good. Well Ally will be in here in a minute. I just wanted to check on you first". With that said she got up and left the room leaving me alone. I could faintly here her talking to someone about me. I bet its Ally.

I don't how it started but the pain I felt was unbearable and made me twist trying to make it stop and just when I though it was gone it was back and more painfully then the last causing me to scream and pant. My screams had everyone rushing to my room to check on me. I couldn't hear them but I knew they were talking because there mouths were moving. All at the same time. As the pain got worse my screams got louder until they were silent. My mom was there pushing my sweaty hair out of my face while Lily talked to Ally who suddenly ran out of the room. Eric was on the phone and then the pain slowly got better and then I could hear and Billy and Ally were there looking at me.

"Shes not changing now".Billy said to the now almost silent room. The only thing that could be heard was my gasping for breath.

"Then what the hell was that"? My mom asked worry and fear for me plain in her voice.

"Her body's preparing its self for the change because by the looks of that episode it is going to be painful".

Billy left before anymore questions were asked followed by Lily and my mom.

"Connor's coming". Eric whispered.

"How do you know that"? I said with panic in my voice.

"He was on the phone and herd your screams Cait. You were so loud it was scarey and then you just went silent".Eric said.

"Haha the asswhole is finally coming to see his mate"! Ally laughed.

With that Ally pulled me up towards my closet and started to pick out some clothes.

"Is Mike coming back too"? Ally asked from inside my closet.

"Not sure. He didn't say". Eric said.

"Cait go take a shower. Ill bring your clothes in when I find you an outfit". Ally said.

I nodded and headed toward the bathroom. I knew the warm water would feel good. I quickly undressed and turned the shower on standing there aqwardly naked with my hand In the water waiting for it to be warm. When it was finally warm I hoped in and stood there under the water until I herd Ally come in and put my clothes on the toilet. I then washed and condtioned my hair then cleaned my body and shaved my legs. When I was done I grabbed my towel dryer my self and put the new underwear and bra on.I then raised the dress Ally had laid out for me up to my body it was a beautiful strapless sun dress that was navy blue for the top part with a navy blue bow connected to the dress with a navy blue and white side way striped skirt. It was really pretty and made my skin look tanner. I then put on the white gladiator sandles that she had left on the floor by the door.

I walked out of the bathroom and left the door open so the steam would come out. I rushed to my room to brush and blow dry my hair hoping that Connor wasn't going to be at the house for a long long time. Once in my room I looked around to find Taylor glaring at me from my bed.

"What do you want"? I said annoyed.

"For you to leave Connor alone he is mine and I don't care if hes your mate hes mines. Your ugly I'm pretty and hot guys don't go out with ugly girls". She said nastily.

"I seriously don't have time for you". I said. " and by the way go home I don't want you here. Odds are no body does. So leave". I said calmly which for how nervous I was surprised me and what was even more surprising was when she got up and left with out a word Burt shaking as she went. I closed my door and walked inside the closet blow drying my hair and brushing so it was wavy. When my hair was done I went in search of Ally.

The first place I checked was Ally's room and when she wasn't there I checked Eric's room and finally I decided to just head down stairs. As I walked down the stairs I looked at the pictures od there beautiful family. There was the boys playing football and Ally as a cheerleader. The whole way sown I got to watch as there family grew up.

The front door was opened and I could see everyone was around a car and I instantly knew who was in it and the fear that he was still mad made me feel light headed and hard to breathe. I felt faint and honestly I don't know how I was still standing but I still moved forward. I kept walking until I was beside Ally who took my hand and held it as Connor stepped out of the car. You know how people say things happen for a reason I think God knew that me and Connor would not talk probably until something happened so when I suddenly felt pain radiate through me I guess I thanked him from saving me from something awkward. Even when the pain intensified it self I didn't scream I simply gripped Ally's hand a little tighter to let her know.

Ally and I hurried towards the house trying to make it before I started to scream but we only got half way and there my knees buckled underneath me and I cried out in pain. Everyones heads instantly whipped towards me. Because just like before as the pain became worse my screams only got louder. Connor rushed towards me dropping whatever was in his hands and ran with me in his hands into the house. I felt the bone break right before everyone else heard it and I knew I was going to change or I was starting to.

"I think this is it"Billy said calmly.

"Connor put her down".Lily said.

"Why is it hurting her so much"? He whispered.

"I don't know son I don't know".Billy whispered while shaking his head.

The pain was so much worse then the other times atleast then after a couple of minutes it went away this time it felt like forever and as my bones snapped I felt hair rip through the dress covering me in it and then finally it was done and I could see better, hear better, and I just over all felt better.

"She gorgeous". I heard Ally and Lily whisper to ea h other at the same time. The others nodded In agreement. Well everyone except the one person I wanted an oppion from. Connor.

Im sorry for not writing Ive had a lot going on it been what I think 4 months I feel awful and I hope you guys continue to read this story also I notices while I was away so many new readers darted to vote for this story and fan me and I thank you all for that.
