Chapter 10

Eric and Mike didn't come home last night and it didn't surprise anyone. This wasn't my first party with them. So I was used to Eric,Mike, and Connor staying out for the night with a random girl then coming home and forgetting the poor girls name. What did surprise everyone was that Connor came home. He had followed us out of the party and to his car. He even said goodnight to me! The whole family was shocked and it felt like we were treading on eggshells around him. No one but Billy seemed to know the reason of this change. But whatever caused it no one was going to argue with it we all liked this change in Connor and we hoped that he stayed this way. I slowly got out of bed groaning at the lack of sleep but since I was up I might as well make my presence known. I so happened to bumb into Connor. "Morning". I whispered. " Morning". He said with a smile. Then walked with me to the stairs. He took a sudden in take of breath and grabbed me by my shoulders and dragged me into the closest room which so happened to be a small living room. "I'm sorry about how I treated you when I first met you. I don't even know why I did I was just mad that.that you were my ma"... His sentences wasn't finished because Ally barged into the room singing"

"Ally shut up". Connor said.

"I was only pointing out the obvious". Ally pouted.

"But we weren't kissing or in a tree". I said.

"Oh Caitlin, Caitlin,Caitlin". Ally said while shaking her head.

I could see Connor was trying to surprise a laugh by coughing he obviously was not doing a good job of it cause I could tell.

"It's not funny". I said.

"Oh don't whine Caitlin". Ally said.

"I don't whine". I scoffed.

"Yeah you do". Connor said joining in on the teasing.

"But I don't whine". I whined.

"Your whining right there". Connor pointed out.

"Fine". I pouted. "Let's go get something to eat".

"Sounds good to me". Ally said.

Connor didn't reply. He just simply nodded his head. With a grin on his face. He let down in till he was by my ear. "Will finish this conversation later". He whispered. Causing me to shiver. I don't know why but that boy made me feel strange things. Like I was beautiful and actually wanted. I grabbed a bowl of Lucky Charms. Not like that was any different.

"Do you always have that"? Connor questioned.

"Yeah. I didnt think you noticed". I sighed.

"I notice everything about you". He said.

"Eww enough of that lovey dovey crap". Ally complained.

"Were not even doing anything bad". Connor said.

"Yeah I can't wait in till you do". Ally said voice full of sarcasm.

"Hmm not yet". He said. I can't wait to change that".

I couldn't help but blush at that. He wanted to take things further with me. Me of all people.

"Awww you made her blush". Ally sighed.

"Ohh shut up". I scoffed. Blushing even redder. Than I already was I bet I looked like a blonde tomato. I then slipped into the kitchen to clean my bowl out when my leg cramped and I fell dropping the bowl to the floor. I couldn't help the scream that came out of my mouth. I had never felt pain like this before. Ally and Connor came rushing into the room. Connor in the lead.

"What's wrong". He asked me worry clear in his voice.

"My leg". I gasped out.

"Get dad". He yelled to Ally.

Ally scrambled out of the room and up the stairs.

"It'll be ok". Connor whispered. As pain hit my body in all different places.

Billy came running down the stairs with Ally behind him.

"What's Wrong with her". Connor said.

"I think it's time". Billy whispered.

"It's to early to be time it's not her eighteenth birthday yet".
