Chapter 23

Ally's laughter filled the room as she screamed to a growling Connor to hush up so i could get dressed. I hurried to my closet just in case he broke free of Mike and Eric. I threw on a pair of under wear then hurried to find something to wear. I pulled on a pair of skinny jeans and a white tank top with sparkles. I slowly walked out of my closet. Ally was exactly were I left her on my bed but she had flipped positions and was now on her back staring at the ceiling.

"Did you look in the mirror"? Ally said excitedly.

"Noo. Why would I"?I responded.

"Alright lets go". She sighed.

We walked back into my closet. I was hungry so i didn't waste any time looking in the mirror. Like i was seriously drooling at the smell that had made its way into my room. I didn't look that different but my skin had taken on a lightly pale color and my hair had gottena shade lighter. The only real difference were my eyes they were more gold with flecks of green then brown with shades of gold and green in them. They were not as amazing as my wolfs eyes but they were still very pretty.

"Ok. I looked. Im hungry, so lets go". I said while speed walking out of the closet towards the door of my room.

"Same here." She agreed,catching up to me.

We talked about random stuff on the way down to dinner. The most interesting part was when she brought up this band called One Direction. We didn't really get to talk about them much but from what i was told i couldn't wait to go look them up.

"Finally. You two are ready," Lily said.

"Yea. I know I thought id have to go up and get you," my mom agreed.

We went and sat down at the table and grinned at each other over the abundance of food that was laid out on the table before us.

"You can eat," Billy called.

This is were things started to get crazy food was passed around at great speeds and things were spilt and depending on the person there reactions changed. Some people laughed it off and others well others threw the food. It hadn't been like this my first night here but that was because Lily told them to behave. Then once the food was passed out and everyone was settled it was quiet and full off munching noises and forks scraping off of plates. Then slowly we all cleaned up and sat back down to talk. It was usually full of stories and laughs.

Taylor never usually joined in but tonight she had a story from when i was fourteen and her twelve.

"So i was down stairs watching t.v. when i heard come here Charleigh. Come on," She was laughing so hard that she couldn't speak. She turned to me and said "you tell it."

"Fine so I was trying to get our dog out of the room. Then she walked in front of me and i tripped making a noise that sounded like a dying chicken. Taylor thought I was rolling down the stairs."

This got the whole table cracking up then Ally begged me to tell everyone the story of the haunted bed.

"Alright. I will. So one night in the summer when i was fourteen it was like ninety degrees out and we had no AC and no fan so Taylor and I slept on the floor to try and stay cool. It didn't work well because I need a blanket or something to cover me because you never know when something might try to grab you by your leg. Any ways i took all my pillows off my bed so when I woke up I was in my bed and very confused on how i got there because i obviously had to have walked from the floor to my bed with my pillows and apparently i decided i didnt need a light blanket so i woke up with a comforter on. Then later in the summer I had just fallen asleep when I woke up to find Taylor walking down the bunk bed ladder with her blanket so of course i had to ask her if she was scared or had a nightmare she wouldnt answer me all she did was shove me into the wall and hop into my bed," I finished with a laugh and looked to see Taylor laughing to.

"That was one weird summer," she said.

Everyone in the room agreed. I slowly thought of that summer there were tons of laughs that me and Taylor shared but that was also the last summer me and her actually really got along. I bet soon after that she changed into a werewolf. I was pulled out of my thoughts by my mom hugging me and telling me she'd see me soon.

'Let me show you One Direction," Ally squealed. Pulling me up to her room.

She first showed me there video diary's then all there twit cams. Which had us up for along time. It was about two in the morning and she was not letting me sleep until I had heard every song of there's which includes the X-factor songs. I loved there jokes and loved there music even more but I had to say my favorite song was stand up. I even got all teary eyed listening to moments.

"Can we go to bed now?" I asked.

"Yea. Yea. Your staying in here though because I have a very bad feeling about tonight," she yawned.

We both got up and silently walked and got ready for bed. Thank god we got tomorrow off because honestly I wouldn't be ready for school. So i grabbed my pillow and head to Ally's room i hoped into my side of the bed and grabbed the extra blanket seeing as I did not feel like touching her scaly toes. Ally hoped in bed next to me said goodnight then we were off to sleep me first I think but im not really sure because I was asleep the moment i let my head hit the pillow.

Authors Note

So Im going on vacation and wont be able to write for a little while im leaving you with this chapter because I leave tonight. Also I do not care if you dont like One Direction to be honest that is your oppion I do not want to come back on after my vacation to see tons of hate on 1D because that is just rude I do get not every one is going to like them but seriously dont comment and be like oh i hate 1D they suck.Any ways hope your summers are going good.
