Chapter 7

John went to the common bathroom to take a cold shower. The air was still cold outside the compound, but he felt as if he had just run the marathon under the sun of the hottest summer.

He couldn't take the kiss he shared with Luke out of his thick head. His wolf wasn't helping neither. The beast was as horny as the young teenagers when they found out that women exist and that they are a temptation to their crazy hormones.

Jake entered to the cubicle that was beside his.

"John are you Ok?" The male asked.

"Yes. Why?"

"Well you are in the shower for twenty minutes now. I wanted to make sure you didn't passed out or something."

John was surprised to know that he had been under the cold water for that long. He looked down at his hard cock that was still too stubborn to disappear. He thought that it would be a good idea to get out of the bathroom without the other males noticing the huge tent that the towel was unable to hide.

John stared at them for some moments and thought of what they would think if they knew that his mate was Luke. For sure those males would laugh and joke and he soon would need to leave the pack to avoid their bulling.

Jake and Mike were good guys but John was afraid of the prejudices that they could have related to homosexual relationships. They were also his friends and John couldn't say that he was the most popular man in the pack. Maybe with the women, but not with the men. He wanted to preserve the only thing that made him feel integrated and comfortable in the pack.

Sitting on the long sofa, he let out a heavy breath without even realizing.

"Are you dreaming about some girl?" Mike teased.

More like a man.... A specific one... His wolf remarked. John didn't have the strength to be angry with his beast or argue with it. He was too tired to fight his wolf spirit.

"Something like that..."

"Who is she?" Jake asked, turning to look at him.

"Put the movie already and stop asking stupid questions." John growled annoyed.

Mike and Jake shared a look of suspicion, but they remained quiet.

John barely noticed the movie. His thoughts were fixed on the scene that had happen in his room.

When the film ended, Jake and Mike had to shake him from his daily sleep.
