Just Like That

CAMERON'S POV

"Just on time" Cody smirked at us.

"Cody let's not talk you know what I want" I spoke.

"Guards" 3 guards came out; 2 holding Tyler and 1 holding Jessica. He was a big guy. All i could think was how i can rip his head off. Jessica's face was swollen.  What did they do to her!?

"Cameron" she said as a small smiled came upon her face. I looked at her my body clenched together. He beat her up with the little time they had. He's not getting away with it.

"José" Cody said. The guard holding Jessica pulled out a gun hearing a click as he holds the gun up to Jessica's neck making her tilt her head and a whimper leaving her mouth.

"Take one step and she dies" I looked at the guys giving them the look. They all nodded understanding.

"Why don't we talk Cameron"

"There's nothing to talk about, Cody. If you want to talk let's talk about what you want" I emphasized.

"Power" he simply said getting straight to the point. I rolled my eyes.

"You already have that you have all the power right now!" I clenched my jaw.

"Okay, Okay I at least want my body guards back" he put his hands on his hips.

"What are you talking about you have them right there" Daniel said.

"No, No I mean my actual ones like Jordan, Jorge, Rafael you know my bigger men"

"We don't have them" I fought. I gave him a confused look.

"Do it now" Cody said as calmly as possible.

José stepped in front of Jessica.

"What are you doing???!?!" Matt panicked.

"Nothing just relax remember one step and we-" he made a noise while his thumb were to pretend to"slit" his neck.

"What are you doing?" Jessica cried.
He looked at Jessica and whispered something in her ear she looked terrified. She looked at me with fright in her eyes. 'I love you' she mouthed.

"Hey I need the vaccine HURRY UP!" Cody demanded. He saw her say i love you. He saw. he wants her for sure now.

"Dad don't" as if Tyler knew what he will do to her.

"Or what you're nothing right now and you're honestly pissing me off so just shut the fuck up" he yelled at his only son. Tyler clenched his jaw and you can tell he was heated.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on her" Tyler growled.

"Or what you're going to tell mom" he joked with him.

"No dad you have no idea what I'm capable of if I were you I would stop" he said through clenched jaw. It made me so mad that he thinks he has the right to protect Jessica that's my job not his.

A guard came up to Cody and gave him what looked like... Cody kept his eye on his son.

My thoughts were cut off.

"What do yo think you're doing" from all of my thinking Cody was up to Jessica and had already put the vaccine in her arm.

"DID YOU JUST DRUG HER!" I yelled. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE. I T LOOKED ORANGE.

"Shhh calm down im not done yet" he held up his hand at our direction and pulled another one which made Jessicas eyes close. Then i saw another one. What the fuck is he doing to her.

"Of course" Jessica fell onto José's arms. I was getting ready to pull up my pocket knife but a shot was fired.

"HURRY GET JESSICA LETS GO!" We reacted fast I grabbed Jessica not bothering where the shot actually came from just knew that this could be our only chance. All of his men were looking at me as i took Jessica from Jose. He had a look of Kill. "IM TAKING HER TO THE HOSPITAL!" I yelled. I saw them chasing after me once i ran with Jessica. Its hard running with someone on you. But it wasn't the first time.

I ran to the car and got in putting her in the passenger seat. I buckled her up and drove off speeding fast. I looked at the mirror and they were just inches from the car. I thought should i take her to the hospital i panicked a little. The hospital is far away its at the most 2 hours.

I stopped in the middle of no where after 15 minutes of driving and hearing myself breathing heavily.

"I need to find out what drug they used on you" I spoke to myself. "Before I take you to the hospital to see if it was bad" I chuckled a little.

"I-i think it was Heroine" I looked to my right and saw Jessica she looked so pale. I thought it was too so I started questioning her. I know how she should be feeling if it is.

"How do you feel" I asked.

"I'm fineishh" I felt her forehead and sure enough it was heating. She looked as if she was sweating.

"Cameron" she said I looked at her. I was waiting for what she had to say. She looked so pale.

"Jess what do you need to tell me?" i grew impatient.

"I need to puke" she said. She opened the door and soon enough started puking. I looked the other way not wanting to see her.

"Okay I'm good let's go right now" she said slamming the door.

"Okay? Are you okay though?" I asked concerned

"Yes Cameron let's go" with that I drove away from the place and soon enough went home. Something's wrong with her she's so snappy right now.

I grabbed her hand which took her by surprise. I kissed it and then put her hand on the handle stick of the car. and I put mine on top of hers. She looked at me and smiled. I cracked a smile but wiped it away as I noticed her smirk.

"Jessica Royce what are you thinking."

"I'm thinking of a lot of things" she laughed. I looked at her a little weird out. I noticed there was lights behind us. I turned my head and it was a car really fast trying to catch up.

"Hold on Mrs.Know it all." I smirked and with her hand she shift the gear and held my hand as she read my mind what would i be without her. I kissed her hand and placed it back at the exact position we were in.

"Stop holding my hand" she whined.

"Shut up and go to sleep" I said as I pushed on the gas.
