That up there just means ^^^^^ that he cares too much and she doesn't know it but does everything he can to protect her. She doesn't know that he cares for her. Because he wants to hid his feelings from her.

JESSICA'S POV

"Cameron what the hell are you doing!" I yelled at him. "Fucking Jack let go of me!" I was angry. He can't grab Max like that. They held him tight and were tying him to a chair.

"Cameron answer me asshole!" His ass was right by me I grabbed all my force and pushed his ass with my feet pushing Johnson back as well.

"Dude gilinsky grab her she's too strong for me!" Johnson said struggling against my strength. Nows my chance. I struggled to get out of his grip but felt another hand on both my arms.

"Jessica stop it!" Cameron yelled at me.

"Make me!" I yelled at him.

"Okay, Max why don't you tell Jessica who you really are" Cameron looked at me with arms crossed.

"I would ask the same thing about you. Jessica I didn't know you knew these guys."

"Yeah well this one standing here" I pointed to Cameron. "Yeah well he-" before I could finish Cameron wrapped his arm around my mouth.

"Don't touch me you prick!" I yelled at him. "Don't touch me" I whispered. He backed away with a sad look. I could careless. Everyone was looking at me weirdly.

"Yeah I know I tried hiding it from you because I didn't want you to get involved. I was okay with you meeting Shawn and Aaron but that was it" I said too him heavy breathing. "Sorry guys but its true"

"Little do you know he's just like us" Cameron said. I looked at him weird and then looked at Max finally stopped at trying to get away.

"What does he mean by that Max?" I asked my voice shaky. Please dont be-

"New gang I'm in it" I looked down why me oh my gosh. Shit. Why did he say it so simple. I'm gonna cry i know i will. "I'm never going to have a normal life am I!" I yelled at all of them.

I got away from Gilinsky. Pulled a  move on him. He tried grabbing me again but i jerked off

"Cameron why me" I was face to face with him. All up in his face.

"If you left me in the stupid dumpster I would be fine going home!"

"Jessica I didn't know, I was thinking about myself"  he said. I rolled my eyes and looked at Max.

"And you, I thought you were someone normal someone I can actually talk to outside of this stupid gang shit!" I was crying at this point.

"You guys" I yelled pointing at every single one of them. "I hate you guys! You all ruined my life I hope you understand that!" I cried even harder.

"I'm not keeping this a secret anymore. I'm calling my parents whether you like it or not" I started running up the stairs only to be grabbed by my shirt. And pulled down to someone's body.

"No Jessica you won't you're not calling anyone! Give me your fucking phone!" Cameron yelled at me. He was angry with me. It was scary seeing him at this state. I feel so weak.

"Don't yell at me if anything you have no fucking right to! No I'm not giving you my phone I'll do what ever the hell I want"

"Cameron!" I was looking right at his eyes. He was angry I can tell. But i was more.
