I hesitate for what seemed like minutes
"Okay yeah sure lets FaceTime" I say to him
I hear him shuffling around and then he says "okay. I'll see you in a sec" I could hear him smiling. He hung up the phone and I could hear the FaceTime sound. I wait a second until I accept. He soon pops up on my screen. The first thing I see is his smile. God. His smile was perfection. "Wow" he said. I felt like his smile burning into my soul, "Wow what?" I ask him
"You." he said slightly biting his lip. I could tell he was nervous. "I'm nothing special, dude" I said pushing a piece of hair out of my face
"Oh but you are" I felt my cheeks get red
He's so sweet. I can't handle this. Why couldn't he be rude so I wouldn't like him. I don't wanna like him. Okay, so I wanna like him. Kinda. But liking people is the worst. I hate feelings.
We continued talking for the rest of the night. We both feel asleep while still facetiming. I woke up and saw his sleeping face, it was so cute. He's so cute. I took a screenshot and sent it to my friend
"look how cute he is sleeping!" I sent the text. I heard some shuffling on the phone and switched it back to the screen. One of his eyes was open and he was half smiling, "Good morning, sleeping beauty" I said with a light laugh
"Were you watching me sleep?" he asked with a deep morning voice
"Nah. I just woke up myself" I said back
"I have to go though. I have to be at work in an hour" I told him
He shook his head and laid back down. I ended the call.
What a great day this will be
