He took my hand and started leading me to his backyard. "Where are we going?" I ask him. We've left his yard. I have no idea where we're going and he won't tell me. "John Hunter, tell me where we're going!" I demanded, he just shook his head not letting go of my hand. We finally arrived at a something. "This" he said turning around, looking at me and pointing. It was a tree house.
"Whoa" I say under my breath
"It's pretty cool, right?" he asked me
I shake my head and he leads up the stairs. It's beautiful.
There's a little wraparound porch so we go sit on the little couch, He's still holding my hand and I don't think he realizes it. We sit down and he looks down and realizes he's still holding my hand, "Oh I'm sorry" he said. I could tell he was blushing even though it was dark out. I smile. He shifts down in his seat a little, I could tell he was wanting to say something. I put my legs over his and lay down. I stare up at the sky. "It's so beautiful" I said
"You have no idea how beautiful" he said quietly. I could tell he means me. I try not to blush but it didn't work. I still wind up blushing. Luckily, it's dark so he can't see it. "Abbi, can I ask you something?" he asked
"Of course you can!" I replied.
"I just kinda need advice" he said
I sit up so I can see his face.
"so I have this friend, right? His name is, um, Erik. He likes this girl. Problem is, I also like this girl. He doesn't know this girl like I do. I don't know her much, but he's barely said two words to her. What do I do?" he asked me. I could tell he meant me. He likes me. I kinda wanna scream, kinda wanna cry, kinda wanna jump for joy. He likes me! But, who's this 'Erik?'
Does he mean Erik Jones..
"Is this Erik, Erik Jones?" I ask him
"Yes.." he replied
"Okay. that's what I thought. Anyway. Just tell the girl how you feel. Girls like when guys tell us they like us. Just be straightforward with her. If she likes you, she'll say she does. Just go for it, you have nothing to lose" I replied. If this isn't about me, I'm really gonna be embarrassed. He gets up and pulls out his phone.
"Thank you Abbi! I'm gonna tell her now!" he said with excitement
