Thomas' POV:

I'm on tour guide duty today. It's kinda like jury duty, from what I've seen on TV, everyone hates it and tries to get out of it while a few people love it (AKA me). Since people develop powers at random times or wait to come here we get new people nearly everyday and the older kids get to be led around by some of us students. They come in as a large pack and then split up and follow a tour leader. They pick tour leaders so we try to show off and get as many kids per run. I'm not up against any stiff competition right now I'm riding a bear carrying an owl and the other two can shrink and grow respectively, fortunately for me they haven't quite mastered their powers yet. Adriana can grow to 10 feet tall and Julian can shrink to about three feet tall. The kids shuffle in awkwardly. There were only about 10 and they all gawked at Sen. I can only ride him side saddle it's awkward to sit on him like he's a normal steed. "Howard can you go get me some water's? I'm sure most of you are thirsty after a long trip like that"

Howard loves to show off how strong he is. He brought back a small case of waters. It weighed about twelve pounds, but they were all still impressed that I could get an owl to comply. We introduced ourselves as the tour leaders and explained our powers. Then they got to pick. "Sen I have it from here head home and take a nice nap you must be tired you were up all night worried they were goi--"

He stood up, dropped me, and then walked off pouting. The kids actually split up evenly I got four the other two got three each. They hand me little folders detailing where they need to go and what their powers are. Lets see two sophomores in high school (one can fly the other can manipulate metal), an eighth grader (she can teleport), and a senior (he has ice breath). "Alright lucky for you guys we have nice weather it's going to be a lot of walking. Keep in mind this is going to be your home for a long time so feel free to ask questions and after the tour explore this place it's essentially a city we barley leave unless we're going on missions or we buy special passes for week long vacations to certain cities around the globe."

"The campus is a large rectangle cut down the center lengthwise by main st. from there it is divided into nine regions. On the left is the odd regions, excluding nine, these are mostly our shopping centers and food distributes. However the even regions are the learning centers two is for elementary, four is middle school and so on. As you will notice all of our buildings are skyscrapers they are like that by design so that the school wouldn't have to relocate students who live out in the woulds such as myself.  Region nine is added in on the the end it's the only part not divided instead having many small streets leading to apartments that is our housing block. You will also, hopefully, notice that this area is filled with many different kinds of people and the school refuses to accept any form of bullying because we are in fact slightly more dangerous than your average students."

The tour crawled on they did start to open up and ask some questions near the end. We eventually reached the end of main st so I checked in with the other tour groups. One was finished and sent the kids to explore the other was at a standstill near the beginning because some of the new people started fighting. I don't normally emote that much so it must have shocked them when I cringed at that. On the tour we ran into a lot of things and I kept my small smile on. This for some reason really disgusted me the more she explained what  happened. One boy found out that a girl he had been flirting with was trans and started verbally harassing her. When she stood up for herself he attacked her and she fought back. The guards got to them in a millisecond like they always do. I have to explain this to my kids now. "alright so I feel I should inform you that the other tour group experienced and incident that required the schools guards to step in. Nobody was seriously injured but that leads me to my next point our school is extremely safe the men in suits that wander this campus are guards and they have weapons that are designed to disrupt out powers now people like me it has no affect on but you guys they will have an affect"

There was a stunned silence among them. One of the sophomores asked me if I would walk with them a little bit more just to make sure they don't disrupt anyone or bring the guards attention in anyway. First I led them to their rooms so they could look around, grab their School Cash Cards (SCC), and their school provided phones before taking them to my favorite store. "This is a small mom and pop cake shop, which is weird because most of the stores in the school are major places but this place isn't it's just a small place and they make amazing cakes, pies, and oh my god their turn overs are a-maz-ing"

When I open the doors I'm greeted by the pleasant smell of fresh cookies and ripe fruits. One of the girls, I really should learn their names, taps my arm "who's the cute redhead? see the one over there with the David Beckham haircut "

I smile at her "hmm oh that one there is Steven we've been together for almost two months now." she seemed embarrassed "Don't worry you'll find the guys at this school won't judge you on looks anywhere near as much as your powers and you guys have some decent powers you'll be fine"

Steven hearing my voice and his name looked  over at me and did what any sensible boyfriend would do. He threw a cheese danish at me. Now neither of us have very good throwing arms so he missed and chaos ensued. We didn't stay to enjoy it because it'll be seconds before the guards are there making everyone involved clean it up. As I walked them back to their housing block "As you can tell Steven loves to joke around this is his third food fight in the last two months. Now administration won't acknowledge incidents like this unless people start getting hurt or using their powers the guards carry out punishment as they see fit. They are actually very sweet, but remember everyone has their limit"

The four of them were beaming by the time we reached their apartment complex, a tall, white building with no personality except for the solar panels on top. I gave each my number and their remaining supplies (they require us to call it supplies it's really just some stupid pens).
